Will i be allowed to sit in Campus recruitment having 12th with 67% and two years gap after 12th before B.Tech?

i am a student of b.tech 3rd year in kiit. the companies that visit my colleges are tcs.hcl,accenture. i have a percantage of 67 in 12th and a two year gap after 12th before b.tech. will i be allowed to sit in campus recruitment?

You need not worry as most of the companies accepts students with 2 years of gap in studies.
But, you may be asked the reason for this gap and you should have some genuine answer for that.

You should concentrate on these things to get job in the companies you have mentioned here:

You are difinetely eligible.

Maximum 2 years of gap is allowed and you fall in the same category. So you don't have to be worried about this. Just focus on cracking the written test and then the interview.
All these companies that you mentioned are IT companies and they are one of the biggest recruiters in private colleges.

They also have similar criteria of shortlisting the candidates. Some of the points are-

• Min. 60% in b.tech, intermediate and high school
• No current backs.
• Max. 2 years of academic gap.

So, keep in mind the other 2 options also.

Along with the written test prepare yourself for the interview too. Written test is just a formality to filter out students but you real test is when you are in front of the HR person.

Dear you are definitely eligible for the Campus drives but it Completely depends Type of Company

For Example if you take TCS it will allows you to Recruitment process

But Some Companies like Inter graph , ADP will not allow in to the Selection Process


You will definitely get a Job in TCS

But you have to do More Hard work then you will definitely get success

For Correct Preparation try to Prepare the Basic Concepts of the Technical things


These are More than Enough to get a Job

That too Improve Communication skills

Some times Companies only see about your Attitude and the Communication skills than Technical skills

Accentrue and few companies.

Because the the criteria as follows,

** Must have minimum 60% throughout career.
** Must have Communication skills.
**No backlogs.
**Must have technical programming language.
But you don't worry because the few more companies are consider only the academic graduation like,

You no need to worry about your 2 year Gap in between your Studies . Generally , most of the MNC Companies like TCS , CTS , Accenture will also recruit the candidates who have 1 year or 2 year Gap in their studies.

Infact , in the Eligiblity criteria of some companies , they mention that , the canddiates who have 2 year Gap in their studies can also eligible . But , the candidates who have morethan 2 year gap are not eligible .

So, as you are having 2 years of Gap , you can attend for the interviews in different MNC Companies .

But ,you should have perfect reason that why you have 2 years of Gap in your Studies . In the Interview , the Interviewers may ask this question that why you have Gap in your Studies.


If you secure 60% or above in B.tech ,then you are eligible for many MNC companies walkins . Infact , some of the companies will also call you for the Interview .

All these IT companies-they do not have a standard set of criteria for year gap like that in other sector companies or in govt jobs.
The year gap criteria varies from college to college and from company to company.Although 2 year gap is allowed by most companies in maximum colleges,you will get to know about the actual criteria only when you have the real information booklet or notice available to your before arrival of these companies.
The number of companies coming to your institute is also very low so you must prepare very hard so that even if you get chance in any one of these company,then you can capitalise on that.
Till then prepare very well as there is decent chance of you being Eligible for placement

And you should have a perfect reason for that gap like long term coaching or illness..... etc.
