    Banking after engineering

Fact is that students are not preferring banking sector jobs after engineering, but its because they are not getting much core job opportunities in the engineering specialization.

If a student plans to built a career in the banking industry jobs , then investing your time and money for four year engineering course is a mere waste of resources.

    Banking Jobs

If you are focused towards banking jobs, you can go for some basic degree. It can be completed in two years and in the mean while, you can also prepare for the banking sector jobs.

There are different banking sector jobs and related exams. Clerical post, Probationary Officer etc are the commonly available starting post for graduates in the banking sector.

    Engineering Jobs

Though engineering is a professional course, only qualified students can find a good job in the core industry. There are around 2 lakh graduates coming out of campuses across the country.

So, the competition is high in the engineering field to get a core sector job. You should require a good knowledge in your core subjects to get a good public sector job.

The reason is that banks provide good opportunities to grow higher. Also banks provide good salaries to their employees as compared to other government sectors. In banks an engineering student can apply for different posts. Those posts are Clerk,Probationary Officer,Information Technology Officer & Technical Officer. These posts are available for engineering students.Clerk & PO posts can also be applied by Commerce & Arts students. But IT & Technical officer posts only BTech & BE students. Those two posts comes under Specialist officer.SO include number of posts. Also banks provide provide very healthy environment where employees work with ease. Also to get bank jobs you simply need to clear entrance exam & interview.Banks work timing is little bit lesser than other jobs. So,these are the few reasons why students after graduation looking for Banking jobs.

    HI..........
Yes dear it's true that most of the engineering student go for Banking job after Graduation. But main reasone behind this is not that is provide large no of opportunities.......Fact is different.
Also it depend on particular candidate.
    Fact is that.
There are lots of engineering collages today and they make engineers in bunch and most of them not get job in their core companies Because of the large competition. When they not get job and most of them are not willingly do engineering either they go for it because their parent told them to do that or they have no other option to do that. After 4 year (of almost tourcher) they find them self know where. They have no capacity to go for further studies and also they don't have job too. That why they prefer to go for Banking job. Because they think that it is much easier to get job their.
This is the condition of most of the student but not all engineering student's. And truly speaking it is truth because i have seen it very closely because I am also an ENGINEERING GRADUATE.

    GOOD LUCK

Actually what happens friend there are so many engineering students in India and every year thousands of students complete their engineering but every students does not get a very good placement and everyone keep this intention and thought that they will get the placement in any multinational company but due to some internal and external reasons they do not get the job in their expected companies because of less percentage marks, less communication skills and little knowledge about english but some of the students get very good placements on the basis of their skills and talent so all left students turns their career line to the banks jobs because there are so many jobs available in banking sector and there is a huge recruitment of engineers in banks for the post of specialist officer and there is a very huge amount paid to SOs in bank with the job security in banks so all engineers are going to get job in banking sector and there is one more region that is this - so many private colleges are there and no college which provide better engineers in India than - BITS and Vellore Institutes and others demands only money and don't care about the career of students so there are no very good engineers in India so they are finding some less hardworking jobs in banking and other government sectors.

yes justified. The number of engg colleges increase continuously and frankly speaking infrastructure and placement of all this colleges are not satisfactory,as a result there are thousands of engineers producing every year all over the country. When there is no opotion left for u....then the best thing is to search any job without considering your specification. And BANK JOB is very attractive option till now.SO i think there is nothing wrong to go in a bank.Engineers who pass out before 2 -3 years, to them "JOB" should be the first priority instead of specification. It is very easy to comment against it but the reality is totally different.
