As far as I concern You are a hardcore Technical person and if you think you can get a better carrer in Adminstration and management line you can go further for MBA.MNCs also demand those persons who have good exposure in technical work as well as in management area becauseegerial if someone has knowledge of both stream then he/she will be beneficial for company.
One can take technical decisions as well as managerial decisions of the company because MBA increase of power of decision making. After MBA u will have knowledge extra function of management related to your Technical department. You will feel comfortable in handling administrative task regarding your technical projects.
I know some of my friends who have done MBA after doing jobs in technical line and now they are getting paid higher salary and have higher position.
If you are a technical person then I suggest you must do MBA from IT stream.
SMU is a good deemed university but if you do it from symbosis pune, it will give a deep impact on your resume and your career also.
