ACTUALLY , RIGHT AFTER THE COMPLETION OF B.TECH FROM ANY STREAM , IF YOU WANT OT GO FOR FURTHUR STUDIES , THEN IT IS GOOD TO CHOOSE M.TECH
BECAUSE ,
1) B.TECH IS TOTALLY TECHNICAL COURSE . SO, YOU WILL HAVE A GOOD COMMAND ABOUT IT . WHEREAS , MBA IS NOT A TECHNICAL COURSE .
2) AS YOU ARE FROM CSE , YOU WILL HAVE GOOD KNOWLEDGE AMONG ALL OF YOUR CORE SUBJECTS IN B.TECH WHICH WILL HELP YOU IN M.TECH ALSO FOR EASY LEARNING
3) THE SUBJECTS IN YOUR B.TECH ARE REPEATED OR EXTENDED IN M.TECH , WHICH WILL BE EASY FOR YOU TO UNDERSTAND
4) YOU CAN ALSO FIND MANY JOBS AFTER M.TECH IN GOVERNMENT SECOTR ITSELF .
THERE ARE JOBS FOR YOU IN PRIVATE SECTOR ALSO . BUT , YOU WILL HAVE MANY JOBS IN GOVERNMENT SECOTR ITSELF
5) SOME JOBS YOU CAN APPLY AFTER M.TECH IN ALL THESE CORE COMPANIES ARE ,
--> IOCL
--> ONGC
--> SAIL
--> GAIL
--> DRDO
--> ISRO
--> BHEL
--> BSNL
--> BARC , etc . . .
SO, IT IS GOOD TO GO FOR M.TECH
If you choose M.Tech, you can get jobs like
Research jobs
JRF/SRF
Lecturer posts
Project assistant
In government universities or the organizations like SAIL,ISRO,DRDO...etc
If you choose MBA, you can get jobs like
Manager
Assistant general manager
Business development executive
HR representative
Resource analyst
Management trainee
So choose the field which you are interested
All the best
Hi friend,
MBA as well M.TECH are two different career option to choose after the completion of engineering. Which one to choose from totally depends upon the skill and interest. You haven't mention where from do you want to complete the above courses? If you plan do MBA or M.TECH in India itself, I think M.TECH programmes are much cheaper and affordable when compared to MBA programmes. Of course the starting pay offered to the students from the top institutes like IIM'S AND B-SCHOOLS is quite higher than for that of the M.TECH graduates i suppose. If you are good in your domain knowledge and conceptually good then better proceed for M.TECH else go for MBA.
In MBA even you can use your domain knowledge by opting for specializations in:
>>HR
>>INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
>>ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE
WHATEVER MIGHT BE THE COURSE IT HAS ITS VALUE ONLY IF YOU DO IT FROM THE BEST INSTITUTE.
Good luck.......
Both options are very good for master if you have completing your graduation with computer science.If you have interest in management then you should choose MBA for further studies and if you want to continue your studies in technical field then you should choose M.tech option.Both master degree are very good and by which you can get a good job.
In my opinion M.tech is better option because You can apply in top mnc company after m.tech but the most important thing is you should do your M.tech from any good college.
So the choice is yours.Choose any one of them in which you have more interest.
All the best.
After doing M.Tech you will have opportunities mostly in the academic field, i.e you can join in the teaching profession.
But after MBA, there will be job opportunities in the Govt or private sector, as a management executive. These posts are high paying as well...
If you really want to stay with your graduation subject or make your career based on your B.Tech study, then you can go with M.Tech, otherwise you can go for an MBA with specialization of your choice.
Rest decision is up to you.
Take a Right Decision,
Good Luck,
Ahad

After the completion of your B.Tech in CSE you should do M.Tech as it would be in the Same line but if you
go for MBA which a very much different from B.Tech that you have studied.
You will get all new subjects so it will be very difficult for you to cope up with the syllabus.
It would be better if you choose M.Tech after you B.Tech degree completion.
MBA is not a good choice for you after B.Tech degree.
THANKS..............
m.tech is valuable than mba since it would surely enhance your programming skills.....so you could get more job oppurtunities across the world with fine package
After the Completion of your B.Tech you should Go for M.Tech Degree as it would be good for you as it is in the same Line.
If you choose MBA then you will have to fave several Difficulties in studies.
MBA is a New branch for you as you have done B.Tech.
If you would have done BBA then you can go to MBA as it would be in the same side.

if somebdy has dne btech in cse......n got admission in mtech IT...is there any problm in dnd dat.or does it create problem in job? reply asap
My Dear friend the best option available after completion of B.Tech apart from doing Job is going for M.Tech. I am not saying that MBA is not a good course but the thing is that MBA after B.Tech is not good because MBA is totally related to business subjects and focuses around business only. In B.Tech you have learned your Computer subjects in detail and you will be getting an opportunity to increase your knowledge about those subjects and topics if you do M.Tech. M.tech is totally related to your B.Tech subjects so it won't be a big problem learning the subjects if you go for M.Tech. So i will personally suggest M.Tech. And the scope of M.Tech is also very vast. Thanks.
Hiee..i am a B.Tech passout..bt am interested un mathematics and i would like to do post graduation in maths..can anyone please tell me..whether i can do pg in math or not..
u.k btech degree in india ,worth or not please help me ???
Dear Friend
If you think that you are good in the Technical sector then you can go for the M.tech..
For this you have to give GATE exam for getting admission into good colleges..
If you are weak in technical and god at management then you can go for the MBA..
You can give the CAT,MAT exams for the MBA admission..
Best of Luck
Hello,
Go for MBA. M.Tech has lost its charm mostly. Also you are from CSE so you have to do M.Tech in CS. M.Tech in computer science has right now very low job opportunities. Also corporate sectors like TCS or Tata Consultancy seems to take very little people for their technological domain from the M.Tech genre. So it is better to go on a side that can be more lucrative.
So I would suggest MBA to you. You can do MBA in Computer Science and Engineering or just MBA in Engineering or MBA in retail management or MBA in supply chain management or MBA in Business Economics. These subjects that I mentioned are few of the booming subjects in MBA that you can try your luck upon.
But for any of this to be true you must have a minimum of 50% in your graduation. The more marks you have, the more it will be better for you.
Next you need to clear any MBA entrance examination test. Any entrance test you like you can choose from. You can go for any of the top examinations available like CAT or MAT or GMAT or CMAT or TANCET. Of them the first scores or percentiles are accepted in many universities. With your score(if it is above or equal to the cut-off criteria accepted in the particular university) you will shortlisted for the interview round in that university.
If you clear that too you will be the MBA candidate for that university.
After the completion of b.tech from any stream , if you want ot go for furthur studies , then it is good to choose m.tech rather than mba.
B.tech is totally technical course . So, you will have a good command about it whereas , mba is not a technical course.as you are from cse , you will have good knowledge among all of your core subjects in b.tech which will help you in m.tech also for easy learning.the subjects in your b.tech are repeated or extended in m.tech , which will be easy for you to understand..
HELLO ASPIRANTS,
Yes ,MBA is a good option for you after B.tech then M.tech.
MBA is a professional course and master degree you get a
good job after complete MBA course and 2year course after
B.tech so you apply MNC company ,humaan resoures ,
marketing jobs.MBA change your future persanality.
In my view and choice is yours only i suggest you .
GOOD LUCK![]()
Dear Friend..,
After your B.Tech CSE degree it would be better if you do M.Tech CSe degree rather then MBA.
If you do MBA then it would be difficult for you as it is totally in different line then B.Tech CSE.
If you want to study more then you should do M.Tech CSE degree after your B.Tech CSE degree.
You can get a job in many Govt. and IT companies also.
Govt. companies like BHEL,MTNL,CCI,NTPC,BEl,HAL,MOIL,ONGC,IES,IAS,IPS,N ational Thermal Power plant,Steel Authority of India,
Bharat Heavy electronics etc.
IT companies jobs like Wipro,Zansar,Accenture,Patni,Tech Mahindra,Satyam,TCS,CTS,HCL,L&T Infotech Ltd. etc.
You can get a job in these companies with a very good salary and many other facilities in these companies.
You should have 60% in your 10th,12th and in your B.Tech degree also.
You should not have any backlogs when you go for the interview.
You should not have more then 1 year gap between studies.
You should have these criteria fulfilled for a job in these companies with a good post.
You can earn a lot in the IT companies then in any other companies also govt. jobs are very good and secured jobs.
You can get these jobs but you have to pass the selection process of the companies.
####Selection Process########
1.Aptitude Test
2.Technical Round
3.HR Round
These are the three rounds which you have to cross then only you can get a job in IT companies or in the Govt. companies.
Best of luck!
