IGNOU means Indira Gandhi National Open University. It is an university in the same of the Indira Gandhi and how can it be a fake. It is a India government university controlled directly by the central government.

All the courses offered by IGNOU is recognized by the India government. I.G.N.O.U is a deemed university.

Hence the M.Ed course done by your sister is a recognized course. With this B.Ed course you can apply for the government job and you are eligible for the same.

    Hello,
Well see if some university is recognized, it is recognized everywhere. It can be never be that it is recognized in one part of India and not in another part. It is UGC(University Grants Commission) approved for everywhere. Now, tell your sister to log onto their website www.ignou.ac.in. There she will get a chance to submit the forms online. Let me tell you that your sister will only be able to opt for it, if she has got 55% or more in M.Ed. Then she can apply for M.Ed. in IGNOU. There is no entrance examination here as like the B.Ed. course. The entire course fee is only Rs.36,000. The course duration is of 2 years. So if she wants to go for it, just ask her to enroll online through their official website.
