Since you have only passed class 12th and pursuing the graduation, you are only eligible for the clerical exams

IBPS (www.ibps.in) conducts common written exams on behalf of 19 public sector banks for the post of Clerks and PO
Eligibilty for clerks-12th pass with min 50% marks
age should be between 18 and 28 years
OBC gets 3 years age relaxation and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxation

The written exams is of 250 marks and there are 5 sections
    Reasoning
    Numerical aptitude
    English
    General awareness
    Computer

Each section comprises of 50 marks and if you are a general candidate than you have to score min 24 marks in each segment
there will be negative marks for wrong answers

Time given to answer 250 questions will be 150 minutes

SBI and its associates bank conduct its own clerical exams
all other details are same as above, but the min eligibilty is 12th pass with min 60% marks

Currently there is no new exam notification by either SBI or IBPS
When exam notification comes you have to apply through IBPS website www.ibps.in

Re: Where and when should i apply for Common Written Bank exams?

There is no notification currently for IBPS.You need to complete your graduation to apply for the IBPS Po or Clerical exam. The clerical exam is valid for Intermediates also but many banks asks for graduates only during time of interview. So better to be safe. You need to visit the website of IBPS at www.ibps.in to know about the Common examination application form. You have to register as per the procedure stated there and after few months you need to appear for the written exam.If you clear the exam you will be eligible to apply for interview in 19 banks based on your score. You can then apply and get job based on your performance in interview.Keep checking website of IBPS.
