    What should i do next to become CA after +2?

    I am reading in +2 Science. I am good in Maths and Computer. What should I do next if I want to do C.A.?

    TO apply for CA after passing calss 12th exams , you have to appear in the CPT or Common Profiency Test.
    This test is conducted by ICAi in June and December each year

    Eligibilty to apply for the CPT is 12th pass

    Next CPT exams will be held on 16th June 2013
    You can fill the forms for the next CPT exams betwen the dates 4th and 23rd April 2013

    CPT exams has 4 papers.
    You have to pass all the 4 papers.

    Minimum marks to be scored in each paper is 30%
    Total marks that candidates needs to score in all the four papers taken together is minimum 50% marks

    Papers of the CPT exams are:
    Fundamentals of accounting
    Mercantile LAWS
    General economics
    Quantitative Aptitude

    Hello Friend,
    CA(chartered Accountancy) course has the bright scope in future and provides different job prospects. It's one of the good option to pursue.

    So, far you're from Science stream still you can Manage to do CA course. But, It would be some difficult for you to prepare for the Course.

    I would suggest you to do B.com then do CA course, It will helps in providing Better job opportunities.

    After Graduation You need to take any of Entrance Exams like CPT(Common Proficiency Test) Or Integrated Professional Competence Course(IPCC). To get admission into ICAI for CA course.

    As the Entrance Exams were Conducted twicely in a year by ICAI(Institute of Chartered Accountant of India).

    Eligibility Criteria for CPT Exam:

    The Person must pass the 12th with any stream with aggregate of 60% marks in their academic year, which was recognised by University or Board

    There will no age limit.

    Eligibility for IPCC exam:

    The person Must hold the Graduation Certificate which was recognised from any University or Board.

    There will be no age limit.

    • You can pursue the charatered Accountant i.e C.A course after completing the class 12th from an recognised board.
    • This CA course has three steps which are CPT, IPCC and CA final.
    • CPT refers to common proficiency test which is an foundation exam.
    • You can register for this course once you complete class 10th but you can appear in this exam after completing class 12th and there is no boundation on any stream.
    • The examination for it is conducted in the month of june and december.
    • The fees for registering it is Rs.6000.

    If you are thinking to go for a career i chartered Accountant (CA) , it is a very good plan, but doing a ca is not a joke ,
    you need to be dedicated to your goal.

    here is information regarding steps to become CA after +2 .

    Eligibilty :

    Education :


    +2 or graduate level

    STUDENT NEED TO REGISTER FOR CPT (COMPETENCY PROFESSIONAL TEST)
    HE IS ELIGIBLE TO APPEAR FOR CPT AFTER COMPLETION OF HIS 12TH STANDARD ONLY

    AS HE APPEARS FOR THIS EXAM ,
    THIS EXAM IS OF OBJECTIVE FORMAT

    DURATION :
    4 HOURS DIVIDED INTO 2 SESSIONS , EACH OF 2 HOURS

    AFTER CLEARING THE SHOULD GO FOR IPCC AND TRAINING PERIOD OF 100 HOURS AND AFTER THIS

    THIS WHOLE PROCESS WILL TAKE ABOUT 4.5 YEARS..

    AFTER COMPLETION OF ALL THIS COURSES YOU NEED TO REGISTER WITH ICAI (INSTITUTE OF CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT IN INDIA)
