    Hi Friend
    You may apply for the grant of Short Service Commission in Army Dental Corps as officer, after completing B.D.S from a College/University Recognized by Dental Council of India(DCI). Army Dental Corps serve for Armed Forces of India(Indian Army/Air Force/Navy).

    Eligibility Criteria
    a)B.D.S Degree with minimum 55% Marks or M.D.S from a College/University Recognized by DCI.
    b)One Year Rotary Internship recognized by DCI.
    c)Permanent and Valid Dental Registration Certificate from State Dental Council.
    d)Should be less than 45 years of age.
    e)Should be medically fit in all respects for service in the armed forces.

    After Seeing Notification for Vacancy of Army Dental Corps in Employment News or other Regional News Paper.Eligible Candidates may apply by sending application on a plain paper having his/her particulars to the following address.
    Director General Armed Forces Medical Services(DGAFMS/Dental)
    Room No. 12 "L" Block
    Ministry of Defence
    New Delhi-110001

    Candidates based on their performance(Marks and No of Attempts to complete B.D.S) will be short listed and called for interview followed by medical test.

    You can join the Indian Army in the Army Medical Corps. First, eligibility criteria for joining the Indian Army, for doctors.

    Age :
    [FONT=Verdana]1. Permanent Commission - Maximum age limit is 30, 31 and 32 years for MBBS graduates, Post graduate diploma holders and Post graduate degree
    [/FONT][FONT=Verdana]holders respectively as on 31 December of the calendar year of application. [/FONT]

    [FONT=Verdana]2. Short Service Commission - Maximum age limit 45 years as on 31 December of the calendar year of application[/FONT]


    [FONT=Verdana]Applicants should have a medical qualification of an Indian University or a foreign university recognized by the Medical Council of India. They must also be registered with any of the State Medical Councils or equivalent registering authority.[/FONT]
