    What kind of exams can i write for Government jobs?

    hi
    i would like to know what are the possible exams i can write for getting govt.jobs,,
    and what are the exams for higher studies,,
    plz tell how to get these details,, how to start for it,, and what portions do they cover???

    There are many exams which are absed on qualification .

    IF you have completed 12th , then you can apply for the

    ~~ postal assistant exam
    ~~ railway t.c. exam
    ~~ bank clerk exam
    ~~ nda - national defence acdemy exam , etc. .


    If you have completed degree/ B.TECH then you can apply for the exams like

    ~~ GATE EXAM (the final engineering canddiates also can apply for the exam . not for degree candidates )
    ~~ IAS EXAM
    ~~ IPS EXAM
    ~~ RRB EXAM
    ~~ UPSC EXAMS
    ~~ IBPS BANK P.O. EXAM
    ~~ CDS EXAM
    ~~ AFCAT EXAM
    ~~ UES EXAM
    ~~ TES EXAM
    ~~ TGC EXAM
    ~~ IES EXAM (B.TECH canddiates only )
    ~~ PGCET EXAM , etc. . .

    so, there are many entrance exams which require certain qualification

    Dear Aspirant,

    In Governement sector posts are divided into Groups.

    A degree holder candidate is eligible for applying Group A B C & D posts.
    While a SSLC/Intermediate candidate is elgiible for applying to only Group D post.

    Group A posts Conducted by UPSC are :-

    IAS
    IPS
    IFS
    IAF

    Or

    Group A/B/C posts conducted by Public Service Commission are :-

    Assistant Commissioner
    Chief Executive Officer
    Chief Planning Officer
    Chief Account Officer
    Tahsildar
    Executive Office
    Statistical Inviligator
    Panchayat Development officer


    Etc and many more posts, after completing your Bachelor degree you will be eligible.


    Some of the posts you are eligible for applying are :-

    Social Security Assistant at Employment Provident Fund Organization
    Multi Tasking Staff at Employers State Insurance Corporation
    Police Constable in Police Department
    Lower Divisional Clerk in Central Government
    Secondary Divisional Clerk in State Government
    Many Group D posts in Railway Department

    After completing your BTech in IT you are eligible for applying in both Government as well as pvt. sector.

    Here below are some of the Pvt. sectors in which you can apply for :-

    BEL
    TCS
    Infosys
    WIPRO
    Etc.


    Some of the Government organizations in which you can apply for as follows :-

    DRDO
    BHEL
    BSNL
    ONGC
    Power Sectors etc.


    Other than that you are eligible for applying all Group Posts in Government sector which is conducted by UPSC / SPSC / SSC / Other Organisations.

    You are also eligible for applying Banking Probationary officer/ Specialist officer / Clerical cadre in Banking sector too.

    Dear friend government exam are based upon your qualification , Here are different civil service exams for the different qualifications ....Mostly after passing your graduation you can take the civil service exams to getting a govt. sector job...
    And after appearing in Civil service exams you take these exams like:
    IAS
    IPS
    IES
    UPSC
    Govt. banks exams
    NDA
    CDS Exam
    TGC
    DRDO

    Dear Friend, You have not mentioned your qualification clearly, as per gmail may be you did B.Tech then I suggest you to appear for GATE Exam, GATE Score has been accepted by most of PSUs, you can also try in Railways through RRB Exam and Banks through Bank P.O exams conducted by UPSC All the Best..

    There are many job opportunities which are available in the technical field after BE, IT. You can apply for the PSU exams after BE. If you qualify in this exam, you can apply for jobs in government companies such as NTPC, BHEL, and BEL etc for jobs. You can also apply for the defense jobs through attending the CDS exam. You can also apply for the civil service exams. Apart from the above mentioned, jobs, if you are interested you can also apply for the bank jobs.

    HI..........
    You have not mentioned about your education qualification. So if you want get a government job then you can get it after graduation.There are some exams too after 12th but it is better to go for garduation and then you can apply for most of the government gexam.

    1 UPSC

    UPSC is the government body which conducted most of the government exam for diffrent government sector so it is better
    Prepare for the Various UPSC exams.

    To join Defence you can Give CDS exam. This exam is conducted by UPSC for the post in Army, Navy and Air Force.

    UPSC also conducts examintion for various Post in indian railway. You can join Group A and Group C psot through UPSC
    conducted for these post.

    You can alos appear for IAS and IPS post thruogh exam conducted by UPSC.
    Also you can become Income Tax officer thruough this exam.

    other then UPSC there are some particular exam that are conducted for some particular post in government sector. so if you
    are itrested for some other post then you can search for exam of that particular post.

    2 To get a job in government banks you can apply for IBPS exam. This exam will help you to get a job in some of the government bank.
