if you want to switch to another field,

you can enter the banking sector by giving ibps bank po exams and ibps clerical exams.
ibps exam is conducted by 19 banks.
if you want to give apply for a particular bank,
keep visiting that bank's site to stay updated about any job vacancies.
as soon as there are any job vacancies,soon enough they will conduct an exam.

since you are an engineer you are eligible to sit for the exam.
see if you fulfill the marks criteria that is of 50 -60% of graduation and inter.
the minimum educational qualification needed for bank po exam is graduation in any stream with 50-60%
and that for clerical bank exam is inter in any stream with 50-60%.

the marks criteria varies with each bank.
what i have stated here is a general marks requirement.
the marks needed may be lesser than this.

the max. age to appear for the exam is 30 yrs which can be relaxed for sc,st,obc.
