    What is the eligibility for becoming RTO officer?

    I am Graduate in automobile engineering. I wish to become an RTO Officer. What are the eligibility for that? Should I write any exam for that? Guide me.

    RTO exam sub assistant engineer eligibility




    Candidates should be the citizen of India.
    Candidates should not be more than 34 years.
    Candidates should complete graduation from a recognized university in particular fields such as mechanical,civil,automobile,electrical etc...
    The exam for RTO is conducted by State Public Service Commissions separately for each State.You can apply for all the states but you should have the knowledge of the local language of the state and should know to read,write and speak in that language..

    In the RTO entrance exam three posts in which you can apply according to your qualification:

    Clerk JOb post
    Assistant engineer post
    Judicial post etc

    Eligibility for the job posts :

    For the Clerk post:
    Educational Qualification: you should be passed the bachelor degree in engineering with minimum 50% marks.
    age limit : age must be between the 21 to 30 years.
    natioanlity: Indian citizen.

    For the Clerk post:
    Educational Qualification: you should be passed the 10th or 12th class with minimum 50% marks.
    age limit : age must be between the 18 to 25 years.
    natioanlity: Indian citizen.

    For the Judiacial job post:
    Educational Qualification: you should be passed the bachelor degree in LAW with minimum 50% marks.
    age limit : age must be between the 21 to 30 years.
    natioanlity: Indian citizen.

    Eligibility criteria for RTO exam are as follows......


    Graduation/Bachelor’s degree in any subject or Engineering degreee in any stream or equivalent from a recognized institute/university/Collages

    RTO mean road transport Officer. RTO is a state employee. Hence the selection is done by the respective public service commissions. The eligibility of the RTO depence upon the each states. The eligibility may vary from state to state. But i am only mentioning the common eligibility for becoming an RTO. Following are eligible criteria ofr becoming a RTO.

    1. You should be a citizen of India

    2. You should be any degree from a reckoginised university.

    3. You must be in the age limit of 21 to 30 years of age.

    4.You should have good physics.

    5. Good Eye sight.

    6. Should have a driving license.

    hello friend,the RTO(road transport officer) comes under the state government organization in order to know more details regarding the job opportunities foe an RTO then you can visit the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission's website there you can find the details regarding the educational qualifications and the age limit for applying the job.The minimum qualification for the post of an RTO is graduation from any recognized university.As you have done automobile engineering then you will have more chances of getting your dream job.Concentrate on your career and all the best.

    RTO – Regional Transport Officer, is an Group ‘B” Executive post and the recruitment for the Regional Transport officer is made by the State Public Service Commission for the post in State Government department.

    I like to become RTO officer. 1.clerk 2.judicial post 3. Sub assistant. I understand that State public service comission conduct this RTO exam. Can you say the Examination code for that exam in tamilnadu?
