    yes,

it is possible to get a job with that perentage..Generally MNC's recruit people with a minimum of 60% in their academics..

but some of the companies like infosys, tcs will look for the candidate's consistency in the academic performance,so they also look for the aggregate score in 10th standard and intermediate...but ofcourse this is the case if the recruitment takes place through off-campus..

for on-campus,mostly the criteria is 60 % in the academics..

Moreover to get a job you can attend some assesment tests like NAC TECH test conducted by NASSCOM (national assesment of tehincal competencies test)

the test comprises of 4 sections, aptitude, logical reasoning, english comprehension and technial questions (technical questions depend upon your engineering stream).

a score card will be produced ranking your competencies in each section...this score card will be taken into consideration by some of the MNC's as they abide by NASSCOM regulations..(example infosys)

infosys has recruited people keeping nactech test score as criteria in march through an off-campus drive.

same is the case with AMCAT exam..most companies recruit people based on their AMCAT score..if your score is good, you will be short listed for subsequent process of selection..

try to attend these exams and get a good score..this will enhance your chance of selection.

    all the best

For most of the companies in different sectors, 60% marks in degree is considered as the basic cut off. For engineering jobs also, 60% is the basic cut-off though some top level companies ask for 70% in academics.

But the problem is the 57% in 12th. 60% and above from 10th onwards is the basic cut off criteria for most of the companies. Including software companies like HCL,Infosys etc., this is the common selection criteria.

There are certain companies which look for only the degree academics. So, you can start your career there and after gaining enough experience, you can move on to some other good companies.

    HI.......
you have 57% in your 12th other than you are above 60%. so it is difficult to get a job in MNC's but as far as any companys concern you can get a job in companies other than MNC's.

so yes you can get a job in company.

Remember not all companies ask for more than 60% throughout only MNC's ask for more than 60% but there are

many other companies who ask for more than 55%. There are small scale companies too with large scale

companies. Though they provide less package as compare to MNC's but they provide you the job opportunities.

so try your luck in these companies. you can get a job.

    good luck
