Hi….im shalini doing b.tech(information technology) from integra university…tell me the eligilbilty criteria for placement in wipro,tech mahindra or any other it companies…i’ve scored 75.4% in 10^th n 57.66% in 12^th n till 6^th semester my aggregate %age is 67.47%....so plz tel me whether im eligible for any it companies on campus or off campus placement…

Wipro, Tech mahindra, IBM, Apple Computers, Microsoft, Intel all are the top IT companies.

your marks are very good in whole education. but less then 60% marks in 12th may create problems for you to be appear in campus placements... because all of these companies asks for minimum 60% or above throughout the academics...

Educational qualification for these companies-
you have scored minimum 60% in your whole education.
Student can't have any backlog in his career.

these are the education requirement.if you fulfill these criteria then you are eligible for placement in these companies.

what i would suggest you is that be in touch of your placement officer, try to build up good professional relationship with the TPO because they have few things in their hands which can work for you at the time of campus placements...

You may have problems in getting through most of the IT MNCs as your marks in 12th is below 60%.There are certain IT firms as Wipro,Syntel etc which recruits candidates with above 55% marks.You should check the eligibilty conditions of the companies carefully.You can also go for walk ins and off campus placements as there many IT firms have relaxed criterias.You can also upload your resume in the job portals like Naukri,Monster,Timesjobs etc and they will send you mails based on your resume about vacancies.You can also check out at freshersowrld.com or durgajobs.com in IT jobs section for better results

Dear friend Wipro , Tech Mahindra are the best companies and high profile companies in India...To getting job in these companies you should have following requirements:
You have passed your 10th and 12th with 60% marks.
You have passed your any type of graduation or degree with atleast 65% marks from any recognized university .
You should be good your English .
Your age will be in between 18 to 27 year.
You should be a citizen of India.
And you will be appear in any type of Civil entrance exam like GATE exam....
You have very good marks in your 10th or your degree course but you have less marks in your 12th class. but it's okey you will fill the GATE exam and if you clear this exam with good marks than you are also eligible for these companies ....
After getting good marks in GATE examination companies call you for the interview and after interview your selection is done.

If you would have 60% in your Xth,Xiith and graduation then you can get a job in any of the IT companies..

If you want to take a job in Wipro then you should have:-

50% in your 10th
50% in your 12th and
60% in your graduation degree

If you want to do job in Tech Mahindra then you should have:-

50% in your 10th
50% in your 12th and
60% in your graduation degree.

And if you want to get a job in the other IT companies like TCS,CTS,Patni,IBM etc. then you should have:-

Actually a lot of people have a dip in 12th marks. So you should be able to sit in Non-Career IT companies(Mindtree,Accenture).
The parameters of the companies are not always constant. They depend on the College they are visiting and the relationship
with the training placement officer. So always maintain a good relationship with the TPO and always insist on bringing
more Non-Career companies though package may be less.

It's sorry to say that but you are not eligible to apply in any of the MNC's as eligibility criteria of MNC's are as follows.

1 Through out 60%.
means you should have more than 60% in 10th 12th and also in your graduation.
2 You should not have a back log when you appear for interview.
other than that you should also have
3 Not more than 2 year of education gape.

Also Wipro ask for
55% in 10th and 12th and 60% in graduation.

And some other software companies like Infosys ask for through out 65%.

But as you not have more than 50% in intermediate you are not eligible for MNC's .
But you can apply for small scale companies.

that is in 10th, 12th, and B.Tech.
All the MNCs the criteria is this only.So it would be better if you get minimum 60% in your B.Tech.
You can make your aggregate 60% in your final year.

* I am sorry to say, the eligibility criteria for applying for IT concerns is not 55% as the other members said.

* The criteria is to hold 60% in all high school, higher secondary and in graduate degree.

* Better you may try for some other IT concerns which has fixed 50% as the criteria.

* You may also try for BPO'S.

* Entering the BPO's and surviving there is very very easy.

* Your general aptitude and logical reasoning will be assessed.

* Then you will be called for HR interview to assess your communication and confidence.

* The same procedure is even adopted for IT concerns.

* So you may even apply for the same satisfying the conditions.

The eligibility criteria of software companies are different. there is a standard criteria for top level IT companies recruiting the fresh graduates from campuses and directly.

Infosys, TCS etc are the top level IT companies in the Indian industry. they have a standard criteria of minimum of 60% in the engineering academics, right from the 10 th standard onwards.

As your academics in the 12th standard doesn't satisfy the criteria, you won't be able to appear for the selection process of these top level companies visiting the campus.

Wipro, tech mahindar etc

But you have your chances in other companies. Though wipro is in the top five list of indian companies, they have a slight reduction in the selection criteria and the recruitment process.

They are asking for a minimum of 55% through out the academics, right from the 10th standard onwards. You should clear all papers before the campus placement drive.

Tech Mahendra asks for 55% through out the academics from 10th onwards. but its a fact that the selection criteria will vary according to the campus and their requirement.
