    Qualifications:
    Subject For BSNL JTO Telecom:
    Applier must have Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology or equal Engineering degree in any of the following fields from an accredited engineering college/university:
    • Telecommunication,
    • Electronics,
    • Radio,
    • Computer,
    • Electrical,
    • Information Technology,
    • Examinees appearing in the final year degree exam may also apply.

    Mode of Selection:
    The mode of selection is by an All India Competitive Examination. The exam will be of 3 hours duration with one

    Question Paper containing the following 3 sections:-

    For JTO (Telecom):

    The syllabus available in various website and the notification for Exam has not release.For notification you need to check the official website i.e www.bsnl.co.in and employment newspaper. Elegibility criteria for applying is Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology or equivalent Engineering degree in any of the following disciplines from a recognized engineering college/university.

    i. Telecommunication,
    ii. Electronics,
    iii. Radio,
    iv. Computer,
    v. Electrical.
    vi. Information Technology

    The maximum age for JTO exam is 30 years.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule.

    Hi, the JTO(junior telecom officer) exam is conducted by BSNL. The syllabus for JTO exam is your core subjects. If you are well in your core subjects then you can clear the JTO exam easily.
    Recently BSNL announced the Junior Telecom Officer posts.
    Total number of vacancies: 31 posts
    Pay scale: Rs.16,000- 40,500
    Age limit : upper age limit :30 years
    This is the special recruitment drive for persons with disability in the IDA .
    Qualification : Bachelor of engineering/Bachelor of technologies.

    BSNL conducts JTO exams in three various fields i.e
    1. JTO (Telecom)
    2. JTO (Electrical)
    3. JTO (Civil)

    Hence without specifying from which field you have completed your graduation it's not that easy to describe the complete syllabus. As Graduates belonging to Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Civil Engineering can apply for BSNL JTO examination.

    The examination will be of three hours duration with one Question Paper containing the following three sections :
    Section-I : Engineering stream : 50 questions
    Section-II : Engineering stream : 50 questions
    Section-III : General Ability Test : 20 questions

    As mentioned belonging the various graduation stream you belong the questions will be asked and the syllabus various according to the stream and the JTO post you have applied.

    For the past three years there has been no Notification after the recruitment in 2009 , hence we can expect that a notification might come in the month of march 2012, if there is a requirement in recruitment of posts.

    Dear Friend, Date for JTO exam 2012 was not published by BSNL, you can expect notification in the month of September 2012. JTO have different vacancies like :-


    JTO-TELECOM

    Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology or equivalent Engineering degree in any of the following disciplines from a recognized engineering college/university.

    i. Telecommunication,
    ii. Electronics,
    iii. Radio,
    iv. Computer,
    v. Electrical.
    vi. Information Technology
    JTO-CIVIL

    You must have Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology or equivalent in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institution/University.

    JTO-ELECTRICAL

    You must have Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology or equivalent in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Institution/University.

    Final year student are eligible for JTO exam..

    Minimum of 65 % aggregate marks from a recognized Institute / University required for above post and your age should be between - 21 Years to 30 Years for General candidates, 21 Years to 33 Years for OBC candidates and 21 Years to 35 Years for SC / ST candidates and your Nationality should be Indian
