Which subject is best to opt after passing 10th standard with 55-65% marks? Is it possible to become an Architect with 55% marks at 10th standard?

    Dear All,

I want to ask a question for my junior brother who just given exams of 10th standard from CBSE boards in a school based in Hariyana. He is an slightly above average student & we expect that he may score around 55 65 percent marks.

He is interested in becoming an architect.

Please help what subject he should opt for, its not compulsory for him to go for architect, if found better opportunities can be grabbed at the same time.. Please give details of possibilities of having a good career ahead after commerce or science in 11th & 12th and after 12th as well. So that the whole career path would be clear enough.

    hello friend

If you want to become Architect then I advice you that you should have MATHS in your 12th class
Because it is essential for the study of architecture .

Now National Institute of Advanced Atudies in Architecture (NIASA) pune which is a part of
COUNCIL OF ARCHITECTURE ( COA ) organises a entrance aptitude exam for the First year students of 5 year
    Bachelor Of Architectue studies .

IF you choose non-medical ie. physics, chemistry and maths where if you take commerce with maths then it
will be perfectly ok to get admission in the above course.

MATHS is the essentiality for this .
so its better to choose the subject which has Maths in it .

you should spent 6-8 hours a day to your studies which will be good enough to secure
    good marks in exam .

    all the best

I have changed the Request a bit . Actually I cannot answer the last question surely . So, I am answering the first one.

Dear,It depend upon only you. I saw many people choosing subject as commerce arts or science just Because there
friends taking it or there parents saying them to say . But You choose it on your own decision .
Numbers will obviously matter in future life but it does not mean you have to choose subject according to
your number. First think what subject you love to read . Suppose physics . But dear I am vary sorry to say that
At this no. you can not get science . So, leave science,History, Geography , Bengali, English what is your choice.what
subject you like most????????you will get all these known subject in arts. If you seriously want to make study on business, and not as just a fun you can take commerce Find people who are studying commerce . Ask them About there subject . Actually
It's a turning point of life . What ever you do think before that. Donot get influenced by your friends or parents.
Listen to all but decision is yours .

    THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!
