Should i join M.Tech course or MBA after BE in ECE and one year working experience in a private company?

    Dear Sir,

    My Question:

My son present working in pvt. co. in noida from last one year & posting in Pune from last four month ( after BE in ECE ).
    I am residing in Gurgaon.

    Now suggest :

M.Tech(VLSI Design) Join:- [Full time(option is sponsored or GATE scoring)]
    or
MBA [Full time or Part time (depend upon the Co. permission)
    or
    Job Continue

Above three options in my knowledge, now suggest WHICH IS BETTER FOR FUTURES for Job opportunity.

    Thanks & Regards

Assuming the private company to be an IT sector it would better suit if your son chooses to do an MBA. This is because postings like project manager, project leader etc in an IT company , most of the demand an MBA degree. So if your son has one it would be an added advantage and the chances for promotions are better. Also if your son manages to get a seat in IIMs or XLRI etc through top ranks in CAT exam then then the whole world turns around as there would be plenty of very high paid job offering.

Mtech is recommended only in the case your son has deep technical interest and if it is not done in a prestigious institution through GATE exams then it would not be quite useful and joblessness during such a period will force your son to take up jobs like teaching.
So be careful in your choice....good luck
