    Scope of Agricultural Engineering in future? Which branch should i choose in B.Tech course?

    i'm studying inter 2nd year in MPC now..nd i'm a girl..i was interested to take
    degree or btech afterwards...if so which branch i've to choose.
    Is there good scope for agricultural engineering in future

    You should choose the branch in which you are interested and comfortable.The scope for the Agriculture in the present days is very high.India is an Agricultural Based country.As 70% of the Indian people depends on these field only.It deals with Animal biology and Plant biology.Student's salary is competitive enough as it's unique field.

    After completion of your degree course in agricultural engineering,you can work in the following sectors:-
    -Departments of agricultural engineering
    -Water management
    -Area development projects
    -Minor irrigation projects
    -Agricultural machinery manufacturing organizations
    -Tea gardens
    -Food Corporation of India
    -National Seeds Corporations
    -Dairy and food industries
    -Agro industries
    -National Dairy Development Board
    -NABARD and other banks
    -Agricultural finance corporations
    -Indian Council of Agricultural Research
    -Council of Scientific and Industrial Research
    -Agricultural universities and non government voluntary organizations.

    1.Agricultural Extension officer.
    2.Agricultural Engineer.
    3.Professor for Agricultural Engineer.
    4.Indian Agricultural Research Institute officer.
