Currently the vacancies are not there in BHEL.It will most probably come in later part of the year.You can keep checking the website of BHEL in the career section OR at freshersworld.com in govt job sections.The eligibilty for BHEL is B.Tech with 60% marks for general and within age limit of 27 years for general candidates.Marks and age relaxation are there for reserved category students.Vacancies are also filled through GATE but this year its over now and wait for the next notification for it.

actaully , the hiring process of bhel is depends on the gate rank .
The cmapany behl , is recruting only the candidates who have secured a good gate rank .
So, if you have a good gate rank , then you are eligible for the interview

the companny will conduct only one round for those who have secured a good gate rank (face to face interview)

in very rare cases only , the company will recruti the candidates without gate score.

Genrally , you will hjave technical posts in the comapny .
So, you can apply for technical posts
and, you should have a good command in all your core sunjects to get placed in the company .
If you have morthan 60%in your b.tech , then you are eligible to write the exam
your age should not be morethan 27years , if you belong to oc category

In the year of 2012-2013 for B.Tech Engineer Trainee Recruitment in BHEL, Computer Science Engineering is not applicable.

The allowable Stream who are eligible to apply for the jobs in BHEL are Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics.

So to apply for BHEL you have to wait for next years because if they require Computer Engineer they should mention in their notification that the Computer Science Engineer are applicable.

Then You can use your GATE score for applying in BHEL.
