    Mechanical engineering is considered as the best field of engineering which has great scope in today's market.Mechanical engineering is an evergreen field of engineering whose scope increases with time and hence,due to that reason there are a number of different jobs present for a mechanical engineer in many of the public & private sectors.


    Mechanical engineering is a discipline of engineering that applies the principles of physics and materials science for analysis, design, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems.

    There are a number of areas under mechanical engineering for which an engineer may work or search his job under various different top companies whether government or private or MNC's.

    Those areas are as follows :

    As there were many public sector jobs were available for Mechanical Engineers. As, for getting job into public sector Companies you have to appear for Entrance Exam and needs to be clear written exam.

    As, the mechanical aspirants were skilled up to test, design and Manufacture of Materials and Products, They can get into Government sectors After Graduation.

    Firstly, I would suggests you to try for getting job in Railway Department which best suits for you. As you can also apply for other organizations like:

    DRDO(Defense Research Development Organization)
    ISRO(Indian Space Research Organization)
    Defense Sectors - Army, Navy, Airforce
    Civil Services
    BHEL
    NTPC
    SAIL
    NFC
    ECIL
    ONGC

    As, for recruiting into PSU's the good GATE score is must.

    As, Notification of Exams will be released by respective Organization Every year. The Entrance Exam will be Conducted by UPSC.

    By the Mechanical Engineering course you are eligible to apply for All Public service undertakings units.
    To get job in PSU' you must prepare for GATE examination by this GATE examinations you have two benefits regarding
    1.Jobs in PSU's
    2.Admissions for M.Tech courses in IIT's.

    You are eligible for Railway jobs.
    apart from your core fields you are eligible to apply for Graduate level posts.

    GATE exam :-

    with a GOOD score in Gate exam , there are many Core companies which will recruit for the Different posts .

    Generally , in these days most of the Core companies are recruitng the candidates who have secured good gate rank . So, gate score is important for for Government core companies .

    Some Government core companies are ,

    BHEL
    BSNL
    IOCL
    ONGC
    SAIL
    GAIL
    MTNL
    ISRO , etc..



    For the GATE scorers , the recruiters will call them for the Interview directly . So, they no need to appear for the Entrance exam .
    The Interview questions will be asked from all the Core subjects of your Branch
    So, you should be well prepared in all your Core subjects



    CDS exam :-

    CDS exam is the exam to join in Defence services

    To join in NAVY through CDS exam , your age should be in between 19-22 years
    To join in AIRFORCE through CDS exam, your age shouldbe in between 19-23 years
    To join in ARMY through CDS exam , your age should be in between 19-24 years

    After completing B.E in mechanical you will be eligible for getting jobs in both types of posts,that is for technical as well as for non technical posts.After completing B.E you will be a graduate pass out students thus you will be able to get jobs in almost all government sectors.

    These companies hire the candidates who had completed their graduation with minimum of 60% of marks and along with GATE Score
