    Well friend,
Till now i have appeared for so many bank exams.

Almost all the public and private sector banks may have the same syllabus
    1. Reasoning
    2.Quantitive aptitude
    3.General english
    4.Computer awareness
    5.General awareness

You should have to qualify in all the sections individually
Negative marking will be there and mostly 1/4th for ICIC. Its not like all other banks it will conduct written exam in online.

But for all other banks once you will complete your written test and qualifies you will be called for the interview.

The good books to prepare is
    R.S Agarwal.

    All the best....!!

Re: Procedure for recruitment for bank Jobs and what is the syllabus of it?

    Hello Friend

The Banks will recruit the two steps.

First of all they will conduct the written test. after qualifying the written test they will called for the interview.

And they have totaled both written test and Interview and allot the candidates basis on the merit.

Expect SBI clerk and all bank exams will require the Graduation students but the SBI clerk intermediate is the qualification.

The age limit for the SBI clerk is 18 years to 28 years remaining banks 21 to 28 years.

For the PO posts 21 to 30 years there is age relaxation for the reserve category students according to the rules.

There is five section each section contains 40 question in 2 hours time for the clerk jobs.

For the PO jobs there is 200 marks at present pattern there is no descriptive in IBPS PO but the SBI PO they will conducted the descriptive test because they conduct the offline exam. but the IBPS will conducted the online exam.

almost all banks have same syllabus

    General Awareness

    General English

    Quantitative aptitude

    Reasoning.

Computer Awareness and Banking Awareness (SBI marketing aptitude is also included.)
