The UPSC board released the notifications for some posts in past 2 weeks back.Here i provided you clear details.
>>> Current notifications in UPSC are :
1. INDIAN FOREST SERVICES - IFS :
a) Qualification is any degree from recognized university with 55% aggregate in academics.
b) Last date for applying this post is 14/5/2012.
c) Date of commencement of exam is 14/6/2012.
d) Age limit is 21 - 30 years.
e) Applying process is online and offline ( challan ).Official website http://www.upsc.gov.in
For applying UPSC jobs persons should completed the at least any degree with 55% aggregate in academics.Otherwise candidates are not eligible for this board exams.

if you have done your b.tech in the computer science then you can apply for the UPSC exam, for this you have to do the hard work. there are many course in the UPSC civil service.

so the website www.upsc.gov will provide all the details for the candidate who want the information.
there are some criteria for this competition like:-
your age must be between 21 to 30 years.
if you are a general candidate then there is no any reservation.
if you are a st, sc candidate then you will get the reliability in the age and in the form fees.
you have to clear your graduation from any recognized university.

I have done my pg (5 year integrated course) in economics from IIT Kharagpur, i would like to know that the answers in mains paper in economics requires critical analysis in the answers or to the point answers like in geography. I am not able to decide whether to take economics or not, if critical analysis is required in the answers then i would opt for some other optional. Please help.

The upsc conducts various exams during the whole year. The exams and their eligibility is stated below
NDA= class 12th appearing or passed, age limit 16.5-19 years
CDS= graduation completed or appearing. Age limit 19-24 years
Civil services= graduation completed, Age limit=21-30 years
IFS= graduation completed, Age limit=21-30 years
