Re: Is it necessary to join a coaching institute for JEE?

    Hello Friend,

It's very good decision to plan a time table for your studies. As, we can help you in posting our views.

Actually, there is no need to join any Institute for Coaching if you maintain good time to study. As, Aeronautical Engineering had great scope in future which providing better job opportunities.

    As, the Time was passing. I suggest you to follow these steps for better preparation;

    > Divide the day into your convenience, Concentrate more on 12th Portion than JEE

    > Refer, Text books thoroughly and clear your doubts by contacting with your lecturers.

    > Attend for Mock tests regularly to know which part your weak

    > Collect previous years of IIT-JEE question papers and make practice over them.

    > Collect the Important topics from maths, physics, Chemistry and Practice them daily.

    > I suggest prepare JEE at home, and 12th at College which will be good for you.

    > Take suggestion from your Lecturers. about the Exam and how it was going.

If you can spend some Money, then its better to join any Coaching Institute. If you follow above steps daily then there will be no need of any Institute.

    Hope you Understand, Thank you.

    Best of luck...........

Re: Is it necessary to join a coaching institute for JEE?

    Hi
now you are in class 12 and you want to get suggestion that whether you should join coaching institutes for jee exams or not.
if you feel yourself comfortable without the aid of coaching institutes then you can crack jee exams yourself.for this you have to study a lot.
you have the clear the concepts of each and every topic. you should focus on concepts while you are focussing how much portion you have covered.
there are various books of different publications but arihant is best of them.now, arihant objective is available for physics , chemistry ,maths where you will get 1000's of different types of mcq questions which will cover both jee and board exam.there are books also difdferent topics like mechanics, integral calculus, differential calculus , co ordinate geometry etc. but i think these books at this moment will not be helpful.
even you can take the correspondance course of different coaching institute from which you can get each and every study materials.you have to pay a fee for this.
    all the best
**** donot forget this is board class so you should focus more on this.poor result will make your career hell forever.this is the pillar.

Re: Is it necessary to join a coaching institute for JEE?

The answer is a flat yes.
According to me coachings have become a must, for cracking JEE and related exams. Do not take me wrong, and don't assume that i belong to any coachings or i have taken coachings.

I am just saying this because of my experience. The syllabus of CBSE and many boards is not at all sufficient for exams of these stature. CBSE has shrinked its syllabus to a very much extent because of which, many topics coming in these exams are not a part of the regular syllabus.

Coachings help you to have a complete outlook on the syllabus. Tricks(rather simplified methods) are taught in coachings so that you could do the questions easily and your concepts are more clear.

This the reason i would suggest you to take coachings for such exams.

Re: Is it necessary to join a coaching institute for JEE?

JEE exams are one of the most tough exams the students need to face after their 12th standard. This exams test the various basic skills such as high order thinking, arithmetic ability, clever selection, logical elimination etc.
They need sincere preparation from ones self whether or nit you have enrolled yourself in an Institute. But it is advisable that you join a good institute with regular classes and study materials such as FITJEE, briliants,TIME, Akash etc.

The reason is that if you approach an institute you will have a better knowledge of various subjects and you will be experiencing a competitive environment with your fello classmates. The interaction with these like minded people in your class will result in learning new things and judging your level.
Time management is the most important factor as far as JEE is concerned. To accomplish this you need to know a large number of shortcuts especially in Maths and Chemistry. These shortcuts can be learned only in those specialised teaching institutes.

You may think that a test series would suffice to know your status and knowledge levels as well as your weak points. But the problem is that these test series are generally conducted just 3-4 months before the exams and by the time you come to know your stats it would be too late.

Some of the recommendation for studies are:
    1. Strictly list out the syllabus very clearly
2.Maintain a formula book where you can jot down new formulas whenever you learn.
3.Maintain a stop clock in your desk and turn it on when you study and pause it when you move away the concentration and agin start it when you study again. This time is very crucial and try to increase it day by day.
    4. Practice previous year papers for strong foundations.
    5. After solving a problem do not turn to the next. Stop for a moment and look back in the previously solved question so that you never forget it.
6.Try to bring your focus for a continuous three hours which would simulate the exam conditions and definitely help you in the exam hall. Otherwise you will not be able to concentrate on the paper for more than an hour in the exam hall.
