dear to join indian army there is no need of any ncc certificate joining indian army one shold be 12th pass for the lowest post
the ncc certificate can give exra bonus
you wait for service selection board(ssb) notification in the net or in the news paper

NCC is one of the source to get into army but it is not the only way to get into army Indian army do have various categories of jobs like software, hardware ,research , logistics, if you have completed your B.Com I strongly believe that CDS examination conducted by UPSC every year can be the doors towards the Indian Army, to join indian army you have to fulfill these basic criterias:

1)you should be less than 23 years old.
2)you should be medically sound.

ncc certificates only for a NCC quota jobs.it is not for particulerly indian army.if you want to join in indian army please prepare for the NDA EXAMS .this exam was cunducted by UPSC.

To specifically answer your question regarding the requirement of NCC certificates. NO , NCC certificate is not required to join the Indian army. However the possession of such a certificate will give you an edge over your competitors who apply for the job. During the stage of personal interview by producing this certificate you earn extra points. Thats all , every year a lot of indian citizens with a minimum education qualification of atleast 10+2 enter the military school without having enrolled in NCC during their school/college days.

NCC certificate isn't a mandatory thing to have to get into Indian army.One can apply on his/her qualification and physical standards , there is no such compulsion to have a NCC certificate.

To join India army one needs to clear NDA exam and also be satisfy physical standards of the desired field whether Army , Navy or ,Airforce.
For indian army you need to satisfy the following criterion's-
Height-163 cms
Age below 27 years

You do not need NCC certificate to get an army job..But if you have it,then you have a plus point.You have to be minimum 12 pass for appearing in written tests.You can go through NDA or SSB or CDS etc for different levels and for differnt qualifications..You can check details at the following link

Yes you can join in Indian Army without NCC certificate, if you have this certificate you will have reservation this will help full to you.
You can also apply without this certificate.
The indian army will conduct National Defense Academy (DNA) you can write this exam to get good job in army.
Any graduates can apply for NDA exam.

U dont need any NCC certificate but if any body have then no problem.There are some criteria for joinnig in Army.


1.u should have to pass class 12th.

2.u should have good knowledge in gk and math.

3.good physical strength.

4.atleast 50%marks required for joinning in army.

No NCC is not essential to get in to Army, yet if you have then some bonus marks are awarded to you due to NCC Certification.
You can get in to Army through NDA or CDS.

Its not a compulsory thing that you must possess National Cadet Corps certificate to get in defense, but it helps only.If you are less than 23 years, medically sound, And if you have Height-163 cms and Age below 27 years, and fulfill the other necessary criteria, you can definitely join Indian army.

it is not compulsary to have ncc certificate because to join army u need to have good physical standards and strong will power. i got call from army but i failed because i dont have good physical standards i suggest u to maintain good physical standards .clearing further rounds will be easy but if u dont have good physical standard u will be disqualified on the first day

Its not been a compulsions to have a N.C.C certificates regarding the recruitment in the Indian Army. The basic thing is that you should posses a physical fitness with the basic knowledge till 10th class. But for the officer trade you must have passed the 12th class with science stream. And to get into it you have to qualify the NDA exam and thereafter there is a call for SSB. If you able to crack the SSB round then you definitely would become the Indian Army Officer.

2.technical entry

to entry into NDA u have to clear the nda exam so no need of ncc certificate
and for technical entry they check the mark u obtain in the degree rather ncc certificate its an bonus to have ncc certificate if you don't have also , you can get selected
