Friend if u are planning long term job (more than 4 yrs) in ICICI. then it is good. They first train u in that field and they charge for this. U will get ur investment back in that period. otherwise in my opinion its not fair deal. By the way ICICI no. 1 private bank in India also job culture as well as salary is handsome.

ICICI gives you a very good future.If you get select as probationary officer you'll undergo to take training for 9 months during trining period you will get 2000rs as stipend after successful completion of training you will be join as Probationary Officer in any ICICI banch in India. The payment for PO is 4.5 LPA (after completion of training). Depending upon work they will transfer you to any other place.
ICICI recruit POs for different roles in their banks such as CSM(customer service mgr), BSM(branch sales mgr), Corporate group mgr, BOM (branch operation manager), business analyst etc.

Being a private firm , what it wants is that its work is finished on the right time and if you fulfill its demand according to them you will paid a high salary because private firms never look after the employees salary if he or she is serving the bank whole heartedly. so don't need to worry about the payement details. when you will first qualify as an applicant for the vacancy , you will join them as their temporary employee and they will give you training of few months, and after you work over there for say 6 months or more, your job will become permanent, and after this you can apply for the transfer . They will grant you the transfer by considering all the circumstance , and will only transfer you if the bank will find that due to this transfer the bank won't suffer any kind of work problem. so there is no time line fixed for the transfers, and they may grant you transfer twice or thrice in a year if they find reason for transfer as valid and will also consider the scope for the transfer
