    Banks hires for the below two posts at the entry level:
    >> Probationary Officers (PO)
    >> CLERKS

    BANK PO EXAMS
    Min Eligibilty is Graduation Pass with Minimum 60% marks

    Age should be between 21 and 30 years

    Age relaxations given to OBC candidates is 3 years and SC/ST is 5 years


    CLERKS
    Educational Qualifications is Graduation Pass
    Age should be between 20 and 28 years

    OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations


    IBPS conducts Common written exams for the above two posts on behalf of 20 Nationalised banks
    Currently there is no new exam notification for the PO and Clerks exams

    Hi friend.!

    BANK JOBS REQUIREMENTS:

    minimum percentage required for the bank post is 60% for the OBC and 55% for the SC/ ST/ EX/ PWD.
    age requirement:18-28yrs

    age relaxaction:
    3years for the OBC
    5years for the SC/ST/EX
    10years for the PWD

    hi,Most of the banks are recruiting their candidate based on the marks they score in the IBPS examination.the IBPS examination is conducted for filling up of two posts in the respective banks i.e bank PO's(probationary officers) and Bank clerks.the eligibility criteria for bank PO's and bank clerks are graduation pass and intermediate pass respectively.The age limit should be between 21 to 30 years for bank PO's and 18 to 28 years for bank clerks.the minimum percentage required is 60%.

    For bank jobs, its better you give the Combined written exam conducted by IBPS, it doesn't asks specific percentage rather degree from recognized university is needed.

    IBPS is an organization which conducts Common written exams and interviews for 20 nationalized banks.

    List of 20 banks which are under IBPS are:

    1. Allahabad Bank
    2. Indian Overseas Bank
    3. Andhra Bank
    4. Oriental Bank of Commerce
    5. Bank of Baroda
    6. Punjab National Bank
    7. Bank of India
    8. Punjab & Sind Bank

    The minimum eligibility required to give these IBPS Exams is any degree from recognized university.

    The age criteria required to give IBPS Clerk exam is minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years for general category candidates.

    The age criteria required to give IBPS PO exam is minimum 20 years and maximum 30 years for general category candidates.

    There is age relaxation as follows

    3 years for OBC.

    5 years for SC/ST.

    10 years for PWD.

    SBI conducts its own exams for its recruitment.

    Eligibility conditions are as follows:

    To apply for SBI PO Posts, one should complete his/her graduation from recognized university.

    Age criteria: Candidates should have minimum 21 years and maximum age is 30 years for general category.

    There is upper age relaxation as follows

    3 years for OBC.

    5 years for SC/ST.

    10 years for PWD.

    To apply for the Bank Probationary Officer posts:
    Must pass Graduation in any discipline with minimum of 60 % which is equivalent to first class degree is mandatory to apply.
    age limits are ":21 years to 30 years (+3 years for OBC and +5 years for SC/ST)

    To apply for Clerks:
    Must required Graduation in any discipline from recognized board with minimum of pass marks.
    age limits are: 20 years to 28 years (+3 years for OBC and +5 years for SC/ST)

    For the post of Probationary officers in Banks,you need to have a minimum of 60% marks in graduation from any stream.
    For Clerk post,you need to have pass marks in graduation.There is no restriction for marks for appearing in written test of clerks through IBPS.But during interview,lower marks may lead to even rejection so it is better to improve your marks if you are a student or else try to improve the CWE score

    Banking sector is considered to be the most popular ad brilliant sector as it involves a number of government and private banks which includes a number of job posts.

    In India,different banks are there among which some are private banks while other are government banks.Private banks conducts their own examination to recruit candidates for different posts.

    While n case of government banks recruitment,there are different organization which conducts exams for several banks.Hence,in case of government bank jobs a single exam may help you to find different job posts in different government banks.


    To appear for those banks,you must have to satisfy certain eligibility conditions like as :

    >>educational qualification

    >>age limit

    >>attempts you had made etc.



    Eligibility criteria :


    1.You must be graduate in any discipline from recognized and well reputed university within minimum aggregate marks of 55-60%.


    2.You must be within 21-30 years in case of government banks.


    3.In certain cases,you have maximum 4 attempts if general and otherwise 7 attempts maximum.

    Eligibility for appearing in banking examinations

    IBPS conducts exam named CWE or Common Written Exam for the selection of candidates into certain government banks.IBPS has a total of 19 banks present within its commission which all are highly reputed and popular.


    To appear for IBPS exam,you must satisfy certain eligibility conditions as follows :

    1.you must be graduate from recognized & well reputed university with 60%.

    2.you must be within 21-30 years of age.

    3.you must have good technical and communicative knowledge.

    dear friend,selection of PO and clerk in banks in these posts are done by IBPS exam taken by 19 banks all over the india.For Bank PO -
    1. you must be between 21 - 30 years of age and age relexation is according to govt. of india.
    2. you must be graduate with at-least 60% from a recognized university.
    3.you must be citizen of india.

    For Bank clerk -
    1. you must be between 18 - 25 years of age and age relexation is according to govt. of india.
    2. you must be 12th pass with at-least 60% from a recognized board.
    3.you must be citizen of india.





    exam contains following parts:
    reasoning
    GK current affairs
    maths
    computer basic
    english etc...

    I.B.P.S --- INSTITUTE OF BANKING AND PERSONAL SELECTION


    You must have a minimum of GRADUATION

    And the minimum age must be 21 years

    Maximum age is allowed up to 30 years

    And you must have a minimum of 60% from a recognized university


    For non Reserved candidates --- 60% in Academics

    For Reserved candidates --- 50% in Academics









    And final year graduates can also apply for the exam

    You must prepare well for the exam


    There will be an Age relaxation for the reserved candidates

    Dear questioner In india 2(two)big recruiters recruits clerk/po time to time every year.One is known as IBPS(Institute of banking personel selection) next is SBI(State Bank Of India,largest bank).

    For SBI PO & Clerk, a graduate from the recognized University/Institution having only pass marks can write clerk/po CWE conducted by SBI every year.

    ***In SBI for clerk job a 12th standard in any stream from the recognized board having minimum 60% marks in 12th can write SBI CWE clerk exam.

    Percentage require for IBPS PO exam:

    **A graduate from the recognized University in any discipline having minimum 60% marks only in graduation can write IBPS

    PO On line exam.

    NO need of percentile for IBPS clerk exam: A graduate from the recognized University/Institution in any discipline having minimum pass marks in graduation can write IBPS on line CLERK exam.
