    A 12th passed candidate can apply for bank jobs for the post of an office clerk on the basis of 12th qualification.

    so ,you can apply for a job in various private and public sector banks.

    to get a notifications of vacancies in private sector banks you need to regularly go through news papers and keep visiting their official website.
    you can then apply accordingly.

    If you wish to work in a government sector bank ,then you need to give the IBPS CWE(common written exam) for the post of office clerk.

    The eligibility criterion for this exam is given below-

    NATIONALITY-
    Indian citizenship needed or one should be a subject of Nepal to be eligible.

    AGE LIMIT-

    the age limit is of 18-28 years

    AGE RELAXATION-

    there are age relaxation for reserved category-
    5 years for SC/ST candidates,
    3 years for OBC candidates,

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION NEEDED-

    Candidate must have passed 12th with minimum 60% marks or in Diploma(after 10th) or any other equivalent exam.


    ***So for the post of a clerk you need to have minimum 60% marks in 12th.




    If you are applying for the post of PO then the eligibility criterion is given below-

    NATIONALITY-

    Indian citizenship needed or one should be a subject of Nepal to be eligible.

    AGE LIMIT-
    candidates belonging to the age group of 20-30 years can apply.

    AGE RELAXATION-
    The age relaxation for various reserved category is given below-
    5 years for SC/ST candidates,
    3 years for OBC candidates,
    10 years for Person with Disabilities,
    5 years for Ex-Servicemen, Commissioned Officers etc.

    EDUCATION QUALIFICATION NEEDED-
    Applying candidate should have a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized Institute/university.
    No matter what graduation aggregate you have ,you can apply with any score.

    ***
    So for the Post of a PO your 12th score does not matter and neither your graduation aggregate.

    Through the IBPS exam you can get a job in the following 19 public sector banks-

    dear friend,

    In the banking sector jobs is the most better career job in which you can make your future bright

    After the 12th class you can get the job post as a Clerk by the IBPS entrance exam for the clerk post...

    Eligibility for the bank job:

    Educational Qualification:
    you should be passed the 10th or 12th with atleast 55% marks from any recognized university.

    age limit: age must be between the 18 to 28 years

    nationality: Indian citizen

    selection process:
    1. written test
    2.Interview

    In the written test syllabus:
    1. Reasoning
    2.General english
    3.General aptitude
    4.General knowledge
    5. computer skill etc

    so after the qualify the written test on the basis of the your IBPS exam score you can apply for the interview in the respectives 19 banks..

    different banks have different criteria.
    So,it vary accordingly.some banks do not require any percentage line,many private as well as public sector banks ,so you can apply in them directly.
    But some may require to have atleast 60% in 12th.
    For eg. the recent form filling of SBI clerical recruitment exam require atleast 60% in 12th.

    *** Based on your 10+2 qualification you are eligible for some private banks clerk posts only

    For example:-
    SBI(State Bank of India) eligibility criteria:-
    1)Age Limit:-

    Must have at least 18 years , Maximum age limit is 28 years for general category candidates
    Up to 5 years relaxation for SC,ST candidates
    Up to 3 years relaxation for OBC candidates

    2)Education Qualification:-

    Candidate must have 10+2 with 60% of marks for general candidates
    55% of marks are enough in 10+2 for SC,ST candidates

    Or

    Any degree with pass marks from any recognized University
    Diploma candidates(regular) are also eligible.

    -> Based on your 10+2 qualification you are eligible for IBPS clerk and PO post in 19 public sector banks

    Because you to apply for these jobs you should have minimum graduation qualification

    So,With 10+2 qualification you can apply for some bank

    if you are 12th pass than you can apply for clerical jobs at SBI and its asscociates bank
    Min %age required in 12th class is 60%
    age should be between 18 to 28 years

    If you are 12th pass with min 50% marks than you can apply to IBPS common written exams for clerical post.
    IBPS conducts exams on behalf of 19 public sector banks
    IBPS is expected to announce its clerical post written exams notifications , check its website www.ibps.in if interested in filling the forms

    To apply for the Banking jobs you should match the following Eligibility Criteria:

    A.Educational Qualifications:
    A pass with 60% marks in the aggregate in Matriculation/SSC (old pattern)/SSLC/10th std. For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EXSM candidates a pass in the aggregate in Matriculation/SSC (old pattern)/SSLC/10th std.
    OR
    A pass with 50% marks in HSC examination of 10+2 Std. or Intermediate/Pre-University or any equivalent examination/Diploma in Banking recognized by Central/State Government or U.T. administration. For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EXSM candidates a pass in HSC examination of 10+2 standard or Intermediate/Pre-University or any equivalent examination/Diploma in Banking recognized by Central/State Government or U.T.

    B.Age:
    Minimum: 18 Years Maximum: 28 Years
    Relaxation-
    (1)Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe-5 years
    (2)Other Backward Classes-3 years
    (3)Persons With Disability-10 years

    C.Nationality / Citizenship:
    You must be either -
    (i) a Citizen of India or
    (ii) a subject of Nepal or
    (iii) a subject of Bhutan or
    (iv) a Tibetan Refugee who is permanently settled in India.
