    Indian railway Jobs

Indian railway have both technical and non technical job opportunities. The selection procedure and criteria are different for both. There are core jobopportunities for graduates.

Technical job selection is conducted under the supervision of UPSC. Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers, Indian Railway Service ofSignal & Telecommunication Engineers, etc are the technical job options.

    Your Chances

As you are doing your engineering course in electronics, the core job options are there for graduates with specialization in Signal and telecommunication. If you have these specializations, you can apply for the technical job profile.

A minimum of 65% is asked as the qualification percentage in General category. there are some consideration available for the reservation and the handicapped categories.

    Qualifying Exam

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) isconducting the exam. For the technical job profiles, you have to write the IndianEngineering Services exam held in the month of July.

RRB exams are for non technical job profiles such as goods guard. You can check with the Railway Recruitment Board official website about the latest job notification.
