    How to make a career in Government sector on the basis of B.Tech (CSE) degree?

    sir/mam am a btech final year student from cse department what are jobs eligible for my career in govt sector.i have an aggregate of 66 till now?i want know the name list of govt. jobs.

    You can appear for govt jobs in PSUs like ONGC,NTPC,BHEL,BSNL,AAI,SAIL,CIL etc.You can also join central govt service as in ISRO,BARC,NIC etc as Scientist.You can also appear for NET and can apply for the posts of lecturer in top govt institutions.You can also have vacancies in Railways or Defense but railways will have lesser number of vacancies.Keep checking freshersworld.com or employment news for regular details.

    There are lots of jobs opportunities and great scope you can go in Private or Govt Companies -:LIKE:-

    TCS
    INDIAN RAILWAY
    BHEL,
    BEL,
    NTPC,
    ONGC,
    SAIL

    & More.... So go in these companies and make your future bright.

    to make carrier by joining jobs you have to seat for the GATE entrance examination.

    the exam held on the month of February in every year.

    after completing your graduation or being a final year student you can appear for the exam.


    otherwise you can appear for the IES examination.

    then you will be eligible for all the PSUs and govt. engineering sectors including BSNL,MTNL etc.

    As a CSE graduate you can apply for the following pjobs in Government sector

    1.AP Police department

    Post : stipendiary cadet trainee SI & ASI
    Qualification : BE/B.Tech/Diploma in CSE, IT, EEE, ECE, Mech
    Age limit : 21-25 years
    Last date to apply : 15-03-2012
    Applications are available in the website www.apstatepolice.org

    2.AP Public service commission

    Post : Industrial promotion officer
    Pay : 15280-40510/-
    Qualification : BE/B.Tech in mech,chemical,EEE,ECE,CSE,EIE
    Age limit : 18-34 years
    Last date to apply : 29-03-2012

    The computer graduates are necessary in all sectors.So,CSE graduates make career easily in government sector.For making good career in govt jobs like BHEL,BEL,NTPC,BSNL,ONGC,ISRO person must need good GATE score for applying.While applying govt sector check whether you have 60% aggregate in academics and person should not cross the age 30 years. **For searching government jobs register in the websites 1.www.yeswecan.co.in2.www.freshersworld.com 3.www.freejobalert.com **For cracking govt jobs candidate must technically strong and have good communication skills.

    B.tech CSE jobs opportunity:
    In the government sector you can get the jobs in many fields through the entrance exam under the departments like UPSC, SSC, DEfense, BAnk, RAilways etc...

    In the government sectors posts like:

    1.Civil services like IAS, IPS etc through the entrance exam of the UPSC.
    2.BAnk jobs like PO, Clerk, It, technical etc through the IBPS exam in which 19 banks participated for the job posts ...
    3.Defense services like Indian army, Indian navy, airforce etc through the entrance exam CDS under the UPSC.
    4.RAilways jobs like Techniacl jobs , Group A through the Civil service exam under the UPSC.

    Dear friend after B.tech with CSE there are a very good scope in Government sector ...After Completing your B.tech you can fill some civil Entrance exams like UPSC , IAS , NDA , IPS or etc........
    For the civil Entrance exam you should have following requirements :
    You should have done your degree from any recognized university with 60% marks .
    You should be a citizen of India.
    Your age should be in between 18 to 24 at the time of joining.

    The selection is based upon written test , and HR interviews.

    After appearing in the exam you can apply for the following companies:
    TCS
    Wipro
    Oracle
    IBM
    i-flex
    Patni computer system
    DRDO
    ISRO
    SAIL
    GAIL or etc.....thanks

    Dear Friend

    There are various recruitment exams for the public sectors..


    If you want to go in the PSU's then you should appear for the GATE exam..


    other exams are also there like BHEL,DRDO,BARC,SAIL etc..


    For Non-Technical sectors you can go for the SSC,IAS, IFS or IES exam..


    You should take coaching for this..

    however there are less jobs of IT market in the government sector but you have oppurtunity in the government sector in MTNL and IOCL(indian oil corporation limited).gate score is accepted there. so you might have a better preparation for that.........
