just strict to your aim if it is your aim and work hard

Qualify GATE with very high score and apply to BARC after getting admit card of GATE through the roll number of GATE.You will be called for interview after being shortlisted upon GATE Score.Prepare very well for GATE.You have not specified your qualification or stream.There are different exams for different posts.All the above mentioned information are for Engineer/scientific officer.even all B.tech candidates are not eligible other than some selected streams.For more details check the link

u need to be from chemical or electrical or mechanical or electronics back ground . u need to have strong knowledge of the subjects u studied and all the best dont get deviated from ur goal

U have to clear the BARC entrance paper then they will call u for interview. or qualify gate paper with high score & fill the barc form then they will call u for direct interview on the basis of gate score

Bhabha research center is a government sector company which recruits freshers on the basis of their score in recruitment exam conducted by them.
one can also apply on the basis of their GATE score provided that you have a healthy percentile i.e. more than 90.
check out for the age factor , the applicants age should not exceed 27 at the time of exam.

You have to qualify GATE with very good score (at least 90),just fill up the form they will call you for interview..All the Best!!

There are many job opportunity in BARC and there procedure is different for different position. If you r engineering background, they take engineers though GATE score as well as through own written exam and interview. There are also opportunity for doctors, clerk, diploma students.

There are two ways of applying for BARC - Bhabha Atomic Research Center.

1. Through GATE : By getting a good score and GATE and enrolling our roll no we will be directly called for Interview.

2. BARC Entrance Exam : By applying for BARC entrance examination conducted every year, after clearing the written examination further you will be called for Interview.

In both this methods you will be applying for the post Jr. Engineer/Scientist.

Before you could apply for this examination you must know the eligibility details, The eligibility criteria details are listed below

A. Qualifying Degree and Other Academic Qualifications:


Those having M.Sc. in Physics / Chemistry, Biology (or) related science subjects with minimum 60% * marks in M.Sc as well as B.Sc (or) B.E. / B.Tech. (or) equivalent with minimum 60% * marks in one of the following Engineering disciplines: Chemical, Computer, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Metallurgy, Instrumentation are eligible to apply.


A minimum of 60% marks means that 60% minimum marks in the qualifying degree / P.G. degree as per the ordinance of the respective university in the respective disciplines (or) equivalent CGPA (converted to % marks by multiplying with 100 / x if GGPA is on x points scale).


Those whose final results of qualifying degree are awaited can also apply.


B. BARC Age Limit:


The candidates desirous of availing DAE Fellowship should have been born on or after 01 September, 1984. Age limit is between 18-25 years, relax-able by 3 Years for OBC and by 5 Years for SC / ST applicants.


C. Nationality: Applicant should be an Indian Citizen.
