    How can i shift my career from Banking field to IT field? Whether Banking experience is beneficial or not for entering in IT field?

    Hi,

    This is piya.
    Have completed my B.E Computer science in 2009.From 2010 working for a private bank as Relationship Manager.I was not able to head into IT field once have completed my engineering.I would like to shift from banking field to IT field.Could you pls tell me how to enter into IT field with banking experience since have strong knowledge in banking products,Customer relationship Management & sales.

    Kindly let me know how to prepare my resume.

    Hello..
    You have B.E. in Computer Science Engineering(CSE). So you can apply for jobs in IT sector very easily because you have the experience in banking sector.

    Its very easy to join IT sector. I am telling you some options:

    1.Be alert for Off-Campus recruitment by various reputed IT industry like IBM, INFOSYS, TCS, CTS, ACCENTURE. The company that I have mentioned, drive OFF-CAMPUSING every year. Follow a good website www.freshersworld.com.

    2. Upload your CV(& required details as mentioned in the website) in the official websites of the IT companies. I think as you have experience in banking with BE background in CSE, you may called for interview with better possibilities.

    3. Register yourself in the following website:
    1. www.monsterindia.com
    2. www.freshersworld.com
    You can get called/mailed from various companies.

    & everywhere you should add the experience you have.



    You can follow the guidelines for making a good resume:

    1. Resume should be brief as much as possible.

    2. The Writings must be simple but stylish. You can use the "Times New Roman".

    3. Don't write huge but use brief elegant English.

    4. Must write a proper Objective statement for the post of job for which you are appearing for interview. Don't use like " I want a position where i can use my skill efficiently."
    Clearly indicate your Area of interest with fashionable English. Like "IT field or, Networking." Don't use the English like the simple statement that I have mentioned.

    5. Make a colorful Resume but that must be for the Writings bot not for design which have a good look.

    6.& All the points that you have to write in Resume, are known to you. You can write according to your choice. But the important thing that I have mentioned, keep in mind.

    Since you have degree in computer Sc. so nothing to worry about ,do one thing submit your resume in the job sites suh as monster.com,timesjobs.com,naukri.com.
    And you can visit the IT company sites also of TCS,CTS,WIPRO,INFOSYS,IBM you can register over there as your resume will have your career details they will call you up as per there requirement.

    Hello Friend,
    Of course you can shift your career from banking sector to IT sector. Being a computer science aspirant and had experience in banking sector you can find an opportunity into IT companies.

    But, It totally depends on your communication skills and technical knowledge that you've to perform at Interview session.

    you may get post as Trade Finance Manager in Various IT companies like Wipro, TCS, Infosys etc..., you can find placement easily as you had experience.

    But, you have to be contact with their official websites through online for the vacancy of the any such posts. and follow the instructions guided by companies in order to apply.

    you can also post your resume over internet to find good job in IT sector. you can post in these websites

    You are from banking field ?
    No need to worry you can shift your field to IT as you are having your bachelor degree ..
    Apart from this degree you need to have knowledge about programming languages like
    C , C++ ,JAVA ,

    Additional skills :

    You need to have skills like communication skills , motivational skills , leadership skills

    ALL these above skills will get a very good job in IT field

    Dear aspirant now you are doing job in banking sector,your aspiration and inspiration for IT world, so no matter if you have qualities then there are job oppportunities for CS engineers in the IT world.Every past experience has the value that experience will act always as added knowledge.

    What are the steps you are to adopt to do job in IT sectors:

    1.You should have a good CV,resume for good software company job.

    2.You must mention your particulars of academic career and experience u have.

    3.You must take a good experience/skill certificate from your previus employer.

    4.Participate in companie's special courses which will definitely gear up chances
    to get jobs in good companies.
