    Steps for becoming IAS officer:-

    1) To become IAS officer ,you need to write the Civil Service Exams
    Civil Service exam is conducted by UPSC

    2)You can write Civil service exam,when you satisfy the eligibility criteria


    Following is the eligibility criteria for Civil Services Exam:-


    1)Candidate should be the graduate from the recognized University

    2)Candidate should be the citizen of India

    3)Candidate who attend the age 21 years and not attended the age 30 years are eligible
    For OBC relaxation is there up to 3 years
    For SC,ST candidates up to 5 years

    4)No. of attempts:-

    Maximum number of attempts are allowed for Open category candidates is 4 times
    For OBC candidates max number of attempts are 7 times
    For SC,ST candidates there is no limit.

    3)If you satisfy the eligibility criteria then apply for Civils
    4)Then prepare for Civil service exam

    Following is the Selection process for IAS officer

    a)Preliminary exam
    b)Main exam
    c)Interview


    ->After clearing all these rounds you will become IAS officer

    it is conducted by UPSC.

    ELIGIBILITY FOR IAS EXAM:-
    • you should have to passed graduate from the recognized university.
    • age for general 21 to 30 years.
    • age for obc 21 to 33 years.
    • age for sc/st 21 to 35 years.
    • you should be an INDIAN.

    SELECTION PROCESS:-
    • preliminary exam
    • main exam
    • interview

    You can give IAS examination after completing.IAS exam is stands for indian administration service.

    You can get a job in IAS exam after completing graduation with 60% marks and You can get a good

    salary and Its a very respectful job in India.e

    Eligibility for IAS exam are given below:-

    You should bra graduate with 60% aggregate in any discipline university.

    Your age limit should be 21 to 30 years and some relaxation reserved in other category.

    You can give IAS exam 4 times ,OBC 7 times and SC no limit.

    • In India, the post of IAS officer is high designated and one of the reputed post.
    • In order to become Indian administrative services (IAS), Officer you need to appear in the civil services exam.
    • This exam is conducted by the union public service commission (UPSC).
    • You must have completed graduation in any stream from an recognised university, in order to appear in the exam.
    • your age must lie between 21years to 30 years.
    • However age relaxations is provided to special category candidates.
    • The exam is categorised into three stages. 1. Preliminary exam 2. MAIN Exam.3. Interview round.

    Dear Friend,
    IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service. The UPSC conducts the exam once every year. The candidates who want to enter the administartive stream take this exam. The exam is one of the most prestigious and toughest exam in India.

    The candidates need strong determination and hard work for this exam.

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

    >>AGE: General Candidates:-21-30 years
    SC/ST Candidates:- 21-35 years
    OBC Candidates:- 21-33 years
    >>EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: The candidates should have a bachelor degree in any stream from a recognized university. There is no minimum marks needed.

    >>NATIONALITY:The candidates should be Indian citizen.

    NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS:

    General Candidates:- 4
    SC/ST Candidates:- no limit
    OBC Candidates:- 7

    EXAM PATTERN:

    >Preliminary Exam
    >Main Exam
    >Interview
    You need to choose 2 optional subjects. There is no such condition that you have to choose your graduation subjects only.
