    For govt bank jobs –

Go on the website of IBPS & there you will find the current oepnigns for various specialists’ officers & PO… read the advertisement & follow the steps mentioned there…. Do check your eligibility status & the category you are following into….

Last date is 16 Jan.. do it soon

    For private banks jobs –

You have to either upload your academic, personal & professionals details on the official website of the bank along with a CV.. bank people will give a you a call as & when they required your services.

You can also directly send your CV via email or a post or by hand also….

    Good luck

    hey upma.
you can sit for ibps bank po exams conducted by 19 banks for bank po seats.
and you can sit for ibps clerical bank exams conducted by 19 banks for clericlbank seats.

but these are conducted at regular time intervals.
and both of the exams have been conducted recently.

also if you are interested in any particular bank, you can keep checking that bank's website to know if there are any vacancies.
whenever there are any vacancies,an exam is conducted.
and you can sit for that.

    now,the eligibility criteria:-
    graduation in any stream
    and 50-60% marks
    age limit-upto 30 years.

    all the best

Being a graduate you should concentrate on the vacancies of PO more rather than going for clerk. If you are a B.Tech student, you do not need to be a PO only to be in the banking sector. You can join the banks as specialist officer or technical officer in private as well as public banks. You can check the website of IBPS as it has recently published vacancy for technical officers in the last week of december. You can also apply in the private banks for technical officers through their websites when they publish vacancies. You can go to bankexamsindia.com for regular vacancies in banks for various posts. Also check www.ibps.in for details about exam of IBPS.
You can also apply for the posts of PO from the above mentioned links depending on the vacancy but it is better not to waste your 4years of study and apply for suitable posts

Re: How to apply for Bank PO and Clerk job being a B.Tech graduate?

See being a B.TECH graduate you can apply in banking sector for post of PO and clerk but your age should not be more than 30 years , and you should have 50% or more marks in your 10th and +2. You can directly appear for the IBPS exam counducted by the government of India for various posts in banking sector, and once you give this exam you will be given a scorecard on the basis of what you have written in your IBPS exam which will be valid for one year, and whenever you find any vacancy in the government sector banks you could apply directly over there with your score card and you will be allowed to directly face the interview and no other written exam will be taken from you. You can get the information about various exam to be held for recruitement in banking sector through news paper or magazine .You can also look on the banks website in which you want to apply. and to qualify for the exam you should have knowledge of accounts and should be capable of answering the current affairs question, you should also have an idea of reasoning type of question along with question from maths. you could also solve the 10 years previous question paper as it would give you an idea of what type of questions could come in the exam. you could also join some coaching centre so that you could get guidence from there, If you work hard surely you will get place in banking sector as B.TECH degree holder applicant get some kind of preference over simple graduate applicants.

For 19 banks , which do recruitment on the basis of IBPS score
you have to write ibps exam and get a good and valid score for clerk and also for po
for other banks also , maximium they are asking for a valid ibps score as a mandatory
IBPS notification will come in september and exam will be in november , better be well prepared so that you can score good marks
and the score will be valid for 1 year , in 1 year gap you can apply , the banks , where there are vacancies keeping this IBPS scorecard
