    Government jobs available after B.Sc in Biotech and M.Sc in Microbiology?

    Is it better to do B.ED after B.Sc. Biotech and M.Sc. Microbiology. Am i eligible for B.ed from Himachal Pradesh? and then for TET exam??after doing B.ed can i apply for PGT (Biology) and TGT in govt. schools? zoology and botany were not my subjects in graduation and biotech subjects are not included in syllabus at school level? plz advice me for my good future........

    Hi Friends,

    Yes, better to do B.ED after B.Sc. Bio-tech and M.Sc. Microbiology.

    The Criteria for TET exam:
    Qualification:
    ** A candidate should have passed in senior secondary with at least 45 marks.
    ** Or 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education
    ** Or A candidate with BA/ B.Sc. with at least 50 percent marks and B.Ed qualification can also apply.

    Eligibility criteria for PFTs and TGTs:

    ** 2 years integrated Post Graduate M.Sc for Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with atleast 50% in aggregate or Master's Degree from a recognized university with atleast 50% marks in aggregate in the concerned subject.

    Age limit: 65 years.

    yes, its ok to go for b.ed after b.sc biotech & m.sc microbiology,

    you can apply for tet exam , qualification for tet :
    must have completed class 12th with minimum45%

    a candidate with graduation degree with minimum 50% can also apply

    a 4 year bachelor of elementary education

    ELIGIBILITY for PFTs & TGTs

    2 year integrated post graduate m.sc for regional college of education of ncert in the concerned subject with atleast 50% in aggregate or master's degree from a recognized university
    must have scored minimum 50% marks in the concerned subject

    upper age limit is 65 years

    DEAR.........

    There will be good number of Government Jobs for the candidates who have completed Graduation in B.Sc like you.

    You did not mention whether you would like to join any government job or government job in your life sciences field.

    The public sector or government jobs in the field of Biotechnology are very less especially for the candidates of Graduates.

    Biotechnology is expected to provided good number of job opportunities for the candidates in India. But it is failed in doing so.

    Candidates are facing so many difficulties in the process of getting jobs.

    FCI (Food Corporation of India) is recruiting the candidates from Biotechnology every year.

    There will be regular jobs in various
    Pharmaceutical Companies
    Chemical Laboratories
    Biotech Companies
    Clinical Research centers
    Diagnostic centers
    Hospitals etc.

    If you are not able to get the Government job, they you can try for above mentioned locations to get the job.

    If you want to diversify from your field, you can opt for MBA course at Post Graduation level with your chosen specialization.

    MBA candidates are having plenty of job opportunities in variety of business sectors.

    Some of the Government jobs for which you are eligible
    Bank PO positions
    Civil Services like IAS, IPS etc.
    Defence Services like Navy and Air Force

    First decide the job designation which you want to get and then collect the list of companies or areas in which that designation is being available and crack the respective procedure.
