    1) If want to try for public sector banks clerk post means you need to write IBPS clerk exam

    Following is the eligibility criteria for IBPS clerk exam:-


    1)Candidate should be the citizen of India
    2)Age limit:-

    Minimum age is 18 years.maximum age is 28 years for General category candidates
    For OBCs up to 3 years,for SC,STs up to 5 years relaxation is there

    3)Education Qualification:-

    Candidate should be graduate from any recognized University

    2)For clerk post in private sector banks,you need to write exam conducted by the individual bank
    And eligibility criteria is differ from one bank to other bank

    You can write the bellow exams for getting various jobs in the banking sector. If completed degree then you can apply for Bank PO Posts and if you complete 10+2 then you can apply for Bank Clerk posts..

    there are many exams for clerical posts
    infact almost every bank conducts its own exam for clerk post

    some of entrance exams for clerk posts are as follows
    IBPS CWE for clerk
    {19 public sector banks are under IBPS }

    SBI clerk exam

    these are public sector banks exam


    eligibility for clerk post

    candidates must 12th passed or be a graduate in any field

    if 12th passed
    then must score minimum of 60% in 12th

    age limit
    18 to 28 years


    upper age limit is relaxed for reserved categories

    3 years for obc
    5 years for sc/st
    10 years for PH


    nationality

    must be a citizen of India


    selection process
    it consist of 3 stages

    first candidates will require to clear the written exam
    after clearing the written exam the selected candidates will be called for interview

    For cracking the bank clerical post you need to write the bank clerical exam.

    The IBPS is conducting exam every year for the below posts

    1. Clerical .

    2. Probationary officers.

    3. Specialist officers etc.

    If you wanna be clerk in bank then you will have to face an IBPS CWE clerk exam 2012 where 20 banks under IBPS and conduct a common written exam for all 20 banks and according to the new rules of IBPS, it will conduct common interview process for all banks.

    If you have a bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification and your age is between 20-28 years then you can apply for IBPS clerk exam and relaxation in age as 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates.

    You can apply for this exam between - 15-10-2012 to 05-11-2012

    The exam dates are not announced but possibly may be conducted in December 2012

    Hi,

    To join for 19 public sector banks then you can appear for IBPS clerk exam. The notification is announced and registration is started from today so you can start registering for the exam and start your exam preparations by referring the books like R S Agarwal or S Chand or M Laxmikanth or R Gupta or Kiran CWE or Upakar's publications and solve previous question papers and practise more. You can even register for SBI clerk exams when notification gets announced. The IBPS clerk exam is in the month of December. So study well, there are five sections are reasoning, numerical ability, general English, general awareness and computer knowledge. Each section has 50 questions and 50 questions.

    • If you want to work as an clerk in the bank then you need to appear in IBPS BAnk clerk exam.
    • You must have the minimum qualification of graduation from an recognised university.
    • Age limit for the exam is 20 years to 28 years.
    • Age relaxations is provided as per the government rules.
    • You must hold the citizenship of india or bhutan or nepal.
    • First there will be an written examination, aftewards you will be called for the interview

The notification is announced and registration is stradte from today so you can strat registering for the exam and strat your exam prepartions by referring the books like;-R S Agrwal or S Chand or M Laximikanth or R G upta or Krian CWE or Upkar's publication and solve previous question papers and practise more. You can even register for SBI clerk exams when notification gets announced. The IBPS clerk exam is in the month of December .     dear friend.As banking sector is at its boom these days every person wants a secure job so in order to work in the banking sector you have to face the enterance tet conducted on yearly basis..Earlier it was like every public sector bank would conduct its indivifual exam and do the appointments but from now on they have decided to conduct a common enterance test for all the public sector banks that is called Ibps clerk or Ibps PO..If you clear these exams then you are eligible to attend the interviews of every bank if you clear there cut off marks..Cut off marks are set by the individual banks only..In this common enterance SBI will not participate..So following are the enterance exam through which you can enter the public sector bank.Ibps clerkIbps POsbi clerksbi PORBI examAll the best

    If you are in giving bank clerk exam then immediately apply for IBPS clerk exam 2012.IBPS stands for Institute for banking Selection Personnel.It include 19 public sector banks & for those banks it conduct Common Written exam.It had conducted first clerk exam in Nov-Dec 2011 & result declared in Feb 2012.Number of candidates passed were 531000.Those who passed the exam got score crad & banks which are included under IBPS had called for interview.Now again IBPS is going to conduct clerk exam 2012.Exam date is not fixed.Exam will be Online. Last date to apply for the exam is 05.11.2012.Call letter will be available after 03.12.2012.Below I have attcahed IBPS clerk exam 2012 notification in that will get full information.

    HI...........
    Dera there are to way to get into bank for the post of clerk. As you may know that there are two type of banks. Public sector bank and seconed is private sector bank.
    Private sector bank conduct their own exam and hence to get a job in these banks you have to fill the form for that particular bank exam.
    Public sector bank
    for public sector bank you have to Appear in IBPS CWE which is conducted by IBPS. It is body that conduct exam for 19 different banks. Hence once you clear the exam you are almost eligible to give interview in all the 19 banks that are attached to IBPS. Also you eligibility for the bank criteria too.

    there is not any one exam to become clerk
    each and every bank conducts its own exam


    some of them are as follows
    SBI clerk exam
    IBPS CWE for clerk
    ICICI clerk exam
    and many more


    there are 19 public sector banks that come under IBPS
    and SBI is also a public sector bank

    but ICICI is a private bank

    eligibility for clerks

    candidates must have a bachelor's degree in any field
    candidates will need to score minimum of 60% in 12th

    age criteria
    minimum age should be 18 yrs
    while maximum age must be 28 yrs

    relaxation to upper age limit is as follows
    3 yrs for obc
    5 yrs for sc/st
    10 yrs for PH

    selection process
    comprises of 2 stages
    written exam
