There are various job opportunities instrumentation engineer. Jobs are also present in private sector but with this trade public sector jobs are more preferred. For government jobs your high school and intermediate percentages won't matter but if you are thinking of private jobs then this criteria may become an obstacle for you.
Lets leave all that, these are all those things that you shouldn't be worrin for now. See, you can get a govt. job by giving exams like IES(Indian Engineering Services) or GATE through which PSU's recruit. Details are given below-
Public Sector Undertaking(BHEL,GAIL,SAIL,BEL,NTPC,ONGC and many more....)
PSU is a company which is controlled by the government of India. The government is major stakeholders in such companies. At present there are more than 150 PSU companies in the country. These companies conduct separate entrance exam to recruit engineering graduates.They also recruit through GATE. You surely can apply for job in any of the company if it requires candidates of EEE stream. To do so you must meet the criteria mentioned below-
1. A valid GATE score, no more than 2 years old.
2. There should be no pending backlog.
3. A B.Tech degree from a recognized university.
4. Minimum of 60 percent marks.
5. Age limit is 21 to 30 years.
6. There is 3 years relaxation for OBC.
7. SC/ST are also given 5 years relaxation.
IES
If you have completed B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and Electronics and Communication Engineering then you can apply for the Indian Engineering Service.
The exam is conducted to fill vacancies in various government departments. It is an annual entrance exam which is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission.
