    Dear prinirman,

Computational Biology is about the study of biology using computational techniques. The goal is to learn new biology, knowledge about living sytems. It is more of a science.

Bioinformatics is about the creation of tools (algorithms, databases) that solve problems. The goal is to build useful tools that work on biological data. It is more about engineering.

Now, both are equally specialized fields and have plenty on offer in terms of jobs. Which you choose depends on your skill set and inclinitation. If you like programming and databases then you should opt for Bioinformatics, on the other hand if you are more inclined towards research then you should opt for Computational Biology.
