    i want to know that like IOCL is there another company who make their recruitment on the basis of gate score.

    Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an entrance examination for doing M.tech course and it is also very helpful to engineering candidates for applying different PSUs instead of writing written exam for each company.

    The public sector companies which recruits based on GATE score are:-

    ISRO
    GAIL
    Power Grid
    BHEL
    DDA
    NALCO
    BEL
    MECL
    NTPC
    HPCL
    BARC
    DVC
    MECON
    CONCOR
    PGCIL
    HECL
    BPCL
    ICAR
    HAL
    IAG

    These companies recruits different branches of engineering candidates like Electrical Engineering,Civil Engineering,Chemical Engineering,Electronics and Electrical Engineering for various posts in their companies like technical trainee,management trainee,executive trainee etc

    Selection process of PSUs through GATE score :-


    1)Gate score
    2)Group Discussion and or Interview

    -> After GATE results are out,these companies specifies cut off marks,based on that score and vacancies,candidates will be shortlisted for the Group Discussion and or Interview .

    ->GATE score is valid for one year,with in that period you can apply for PSU job,if you satisfies their eligibility criteria.
