    Dear Guest,

    I guess you are referring to the CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) exam. The eligibility criteria is as under.

    Education : A candidate should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognised Board with not less than 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC and ST candidates). Candidates who are appearing or have appeared in the 10+2 examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to appear in the test. However, they shall have to produce proof of the same.

    Age : Should be below 20 years of age as on 1st July 2013 (22 years in case of SC and ST candidates).

    Hi,

    Law degree is known as LLB.

    LLB can be done after intermediate. If you want to take admission in any Law institute for LAW course, then you will have to clear the entrance exam conduted for Law course. This entrance exam is known as CLAT.

    CLAT - Common Law Admission Test

    Eligibility criteria for CLAT for LLB ~~

    10+2 with 50% marks from a recognised central or state board.

    12th appearing candidates can also apply.

    Age should be upto 20 years.

    Syllabus and Pattern of CLAT ~~

    CLAT consists of five sections. These are the objective type questions. These sections are --

    English

    General Knowledge

    Elementary Mathematics

    Legal Aptitude

    Logical Reasoning
