Your marks are well above the minimum criteria set by most of the companies in various sectors including IT.You should not have more than 1year gap in academics to be eligible for various IT firms.Core sector companies of Civil,Mechanical,Electrical,ECE are not so much focussed on 1year gap and they allow a bit relaxation.Improve your communication skill and prepare a proper eye catching resume. You must also have very good knowledge of your course matter as it is the main criteria of selection in any company. All the best

    Hi,

Most of the colleges conduct campus recruitments for engineering students.

You have got good percentage in all your academics and engineering also, so you have good chances of getting campus recruitments.

I hope you are awared of the criteria of the recruitment ? All the top IT/ software companies like TCS, Accenture, Infosys, IBM etc. have an eligibility criteria for the students.

    The criteria are

You should have got 60% marks in 10th, 12th.

You should have got 60% in engineering.

You should not have any backlogs or arrears.

You should not have a gap of more than 2 years in your academics.

So, as per your percentage you fulfil the criteria and therefore you can apply for the campus placements to the top IT companies.

Normally the stages of selection includes

    A written technical test.
    A GD
A personal interview / HR round.

So, prepare yourself and go for the interview.

    All the best.
