Hai friend,
yes, there is a chance of getting a job with less percentage.but since you haven't mentioned ur percentage..here is the info for you..
your percentage should be around 60% to get placed in an MNC ,provided it is on-campus..
or if the recruitment process is off-campus then the percentage should be around 70% to participate in the drive depending upon the company
companies like infosys and tcs are expecting more than 75% aggreagte for the student to participate in the off-campus drive.
you can still get a chance to get into these companies with less aggregate of marks provided u score good in the assesment exams like NACTECH test (initaited by NASSCOM)...this exam consists of 3-4 sections like aptitude, reasoning, english comprehension and technical questions...your score card produced after taking the test will assess your competencies and rank you accordingly..
as,most of the multi national companies abide by NASSCOM they take this score into consideration while recruiting freshers..
There was also another exam called AMCAT,similar to NACTECH test that asses the students competencies..
attend such exams and get a good score...this will enhance ur chances of selection even though you have less percentage in your academics..
but i advice you to maintain good percentage in academics because the companies generally prefer people with good percentages as they need hard working and dedicated people although aptitude and problem solving abilities are their main priority when they hire people.

HI........
you have not write about how much % you have in your graduation.but yes, you can get job even with less % but % should not be very less. I think if you have % above 50 then you can get a job. though they will not going to pay you good amount for that % but you can get a job.
Remember % is the first obstacle in getting a job if you clear that huddle then there are some other huddles too that you have to clear. And clearing first huddle is not in your hand as you have already gone through the degree course.
so now what you have to do is to search for the companies that allow you to sit into their recruitment process.Once you have clear this huddle then % dosn't matter then what matter is your knowledge and your communication skill.your communication skill should be good enough to over come your less % tag.
so be ready and improver your technical knowledge and your communication skill as good as you can.because % is never the only way to judge some ones knowledge or ability. you can impress them with your communication skill and knowledge.
so go for it good luck and yer hear are some site that will help you to find a job with your %.
freashershworld.com
shine.com
monster.com
governmentjobsalerts.com
its tough but not impossible
good luck
If you have cleared all your back logs(if any), then don't waste your time. Though you have a less percentage in graduation, there are some good openings for freshers. As you have not mentioned your stream, I can't specifically explain the things.
But, what you have to do is, check for job openings for freshers in your stream in newspapers and other dailies. Register in some good online job portals and post your updated resume. Make sure that you join only 3-4 top sites. naukri.com,timesjobs,monsterjobs are some good sites.
Get some specialization. As you have less percentage in graduation, you need some additional qualification in your stream. Go for some certified training courses in your stream. Remember that you are going to join a good institute as it matters a lot when comes to an extra certification.
>> If you are from IT/CS stream you can go for some software courses like java,.net,php etc
>> If you are from electrical field you can go for PLC Scada, electrical CAD etc.
>> If you are from mechanical stream, then you can go for Auto CAD.
Like this, get your specialization and this will help you in getting good jobs in your core stream itself.
All the best.

Hi guest, The minimum percentage of marks required in graduation is 60 %. Top Multinational companies will look for the candidates who have good academic ground i.e you must scored minimum 60 % in secondary, senior secondary and graduation exam. While appearing in interview you must not have any kind of backlog. If your percentage is less, then you must first have to work in smaller companies, and once you gained the experience of 2-3 years, then you can easily get the job in top multinational companies. Thanx![]()
Hey pal,
Well you can certainly get a job even with less than 60% marks in you boards or graduation. It again depends on the type of under graduate course that you are doing and also the ranking of the collage from where you have been doing your graduation.
There are many companies which recruit students with less marks in graduation. For those companies you have to apply on your own,i.e. out campus. You can register in some website like monster.com or naukri.com. You will be getting the updates about recruiters and according you can apply for the interview. You can also go for any private airlines company and try your luck there
Well, wishing you all the good luck with your dreams and getting a job. But then again I would advice you to work and study hard from now on so that you can improve on your graduation results.
Wishing you all the best.![]()

hey friend ....
yes you can get good jobs in companies even if you have a low percentage in your graduation..
but it depends upon how low your percentage is.....if your aggregate percentage is above 60% you can get an on campus placement in many multinational companies but for off campus its about 70%.
apart from that you can also prepare for civil services, bank clerical jobs etc.
you can also do some diploma courses like mobile repairing or web designing or take up jobs like data entry jobs.though the initial payment in these jobs is not that much but you get a good one after you have an experience of 2-3 years...
wish u all the best for your future life.........
Dear,
Firstly, mentioned your percentage & branch. I can't specifically explain the things.
But, what you have to do is, check for job openings for freshers in your stream in newspapers and other dailies. Register in some good online job portals and post your updated resume. Make sure that you join only 3-4 top sites. naukri.com,timesjobs,monsterjobs are some good sites.
good luck dear.......................................
Yes you can get the good job even having the less percentage in your graduation. I think the percentage help to any candidate only enter in the company and after that the candidates knowledge work there. If you have the good knowledge related to your study, job, work then sure you will get the job. Once you get the job then I will suggest you not to leave your job until you cannot get 2-3 years of experience. You should also learn some more and more thing so that your knowledge can increase and you can stay with you jobs.
If you are looking to get the job in the private sector than the minimum marks required for this is 50% and less percentage candidate is not eligible to apply.
To get a good job only percentage is not matter there are also some factors where your job selection also depend.
- What is the eligibility to get a good job?
- Good academic records
- Good communication skills
- Good knowledge of English and local language
- Good knowledge of your work
- Knowledge of computer
- Should have more than 18 years age
- Willing to work anywhere in India
- Should have good physical standard
