    Hello Aspirant,

    B.Tech means bachelor in technology.There are many streams in which one can do B.Tech such as B.Tech in biotechnology,civil engineering,electrical engineering,mechanical engineering,chemical engineering,computer science,agriculture,Horticulture,information technology,electronics & communication,electronics & instrumentation etc.

The required basic qualification is +2 with Physics,Chemistry & mathematics. One is required to appear AIEEE,IITJEE & or state govt.competitions for admission in the related college for B.tech course. The course is of 4 years duration.

It has several good scopes for employment. After completion of B.Tech course one is entitle to get job in pvt. & govt.organisation as a project engineer,Junior Manager,Asst.Engineer etc with a good pay scale. There would a probation period for one year at the initial pay of Rs.20,400/per month & after success completion of the probation period, the employee is placed in full pay scale in which one would be getting about Rs,40,000 to 45,000/month.

So if you are interested to study B.Tech,pl.do study in a good college. You need not worry for jobs after your said course.

    Good Luck.

Re: Can i get job after completing B.Tech?

    Obviously yes.
B.tech is a job oriented course. It had become popular among the students in the last 10 years because of the same reason. It provides you jobs. You don't even have to study further or do a compulsory post graduate course for getting a job.

But there are many criteria on which your chances of getting a job depends. I have discussed some of them below.

~ First of all, it depends on your stream. In some streams you get a job very easily and in some you have to put in some effort.
~ Secondly, competition is everywhere and when it comes to recruitment of students, every company would want students who have good knowledge about their subject and have good command on their skills and abilities.
~ You have to adaptable to different locations. This is an era of MNC's. In any company you are recruited, it will be expected from you that you can work in any state and in any environment.
~ Getting a degree should not be your final aim. In India lackhs of engineers are passed out every year and many are unemployed because they lack knowledge about their subject and they just attended classes to get a degree.

The final thing that i would like to add is that you should always take the course seriously then only it will repay you serious benefits later in your life

    *all the best*
