    YES, you can fill the forms.

    Next UPSC Prelims Exams will be held on 19th MAY 2013

    Notifications for this exam will come out on 2nd February 2013


    Eligibilty for the UPSC Civil services exams:

    Education-Graduation Pass in any stream

    Age Limit :
    General Category-
    21-30yrs on 1st August of the year of exam
    OBC-21-33yrs
    SC/ST-21-35yrs


    ATTEMPTS- General candidates- 4 times
    OBC- 7 times
    SC/ST- No such restriction

    Hi

    Yes you can apply for civil services exam after completion of your Electronics and communication engineering.A Graduate from any stream can apply for civil services examination.

    Here is the other eligibility conditions for civil services exam:-

    1)Age limit:-

    Age limit is 21-30 years.relaxation is there for OBC,SC,ST candidates as per government rules

    2)Number of attempts-

    No limit for SC,ST candidates for number of times attending the exam.
    7 times for OBC candidates
    4 times for general category candidates

    -> If you satisfies these eligibility criteria also,then you can apply for it.

    Of course, you can surely fill UPSC Exam forms after completion of your graduation.

    Required eligibility conditions for UPSC Exams:

    Educational criteria: Any degree from recognized university.

    Age criteria:

    Minimum: 21 years

    Maximum: 30 years

    This is applicable for general category.

    There is age relaxation as follows

    3 years for OBC.

    5 years for SC/ST & Exservice Men.

    10 years for PWD.

    Number of attempts:

    General candidates: four attempts.

    Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates: No restriction.

    Other Backward Classes: seven attempts.

    Next UPSC Civil services Preliminary exam is on 19-05-2013.

    Date of Notification: 02-02-2013.

    Last date for receipt of application: 04-03-2013.

    If your electronics and communication department is for B-Tech degree then you are applicable for IAS exam .
    Those candidate have completed graduation degree from any recognized university with any discipline are eligible for IAS exam.

    Age criteria :-


    21 to 30 years for General category candidates
    21to 33 year for OBC category candidates
    21 to 35 years for SC/ST category candidates

    Number of attempts:-


    4 attempts for General category candidates.
    7 attempts for Obc category candidates
    14 attempts for SC/ST category candidates.

    Others UPSC exam are - IES , CDS exam.
