    Can i be eligible to appear in GATE exam for M.Tech course after getting 49% marks in BE (Info Science)?

    i wanted to write gate exam for mtech but i had a below 50% aggregate in BE , am i eligible to write gate exam ?, if a good score in gate wil get admission to mtech ? Give ful description of gate tht who to apply , hw and when the exams wil be conducted and is it eligible to do mtech in distance education .

    GATE exams are conducted by IIT each year.
    GATE scores are used for admissions in the MTECH programme as well as PSU considers GATE scores for shortlisting candidates for the interviews.

    Below is the eligibilty for the GATE exams:
    >> BE/BTECH pass
    Final year candidates can also apply

    >> MSC/MCA/MA with branch science/mathematics/statistics/computer applications

    Next GATE exams will be held in January 2014
    Forms will come out in July 2013

    Gate exams will be held in both online and Offline mode.
    You can choose the medium in which you want to give the exams.

    It is better that you should do your MTech through regular college only

    yes, you were eligible for writing the GATE exam. As the GATE exam were conducted by IIT each year and it were used for the admissions into M.tech on the basis of its score. GATE plays also some prominent role in getting job for some organizations and eligiblity criteria for Gate exam was candidate should complete its B.tech course and candidates from MCA/MSC/MA and pre- final year students were not eligible and also diploma holders were also not eligible for apply. and the detailed description about the application procedure can be referred through website http://gate.learnhub.com/lesson/1893...tion-procedure by their you can find complete details about 2013 GATE exam and ofcourse if you want to do your M.tech with distant learning yes,it possible and you can have many colleges in india offering distant learning of M.tech course and eligibility criteria for this was one need to be graduate in B.tech with 50% marks and no backlogs at time of applying for this contact the respected college directly there by follow the instructions stated by them.     You can appear for gate exam irrespective of the marks you score in your engineering degree.The eligibility criteria for applying for the gate examination is B.Tech pass.Final year students can also apply.The exam will be conducted in the month of February and the notification will be released by September.For more details regarding gate examination visit www.gate.iitb.ac.in

    hi friend.!

    yes, you can appear for the GATE exam.the GATE application must be b.tech person.
    the exam must be conducted in the month of february and notification will be released in September.for the GATE the person must be need the percentage is 45% or 50%.for you want more detail means you can go through the www.gate.iitb.ac.in.
