    Can i become an IAS or IPS officer after completing Aerospace Engineering?

    sir, i am a student and i am intrested in taking science after 10th and then want to take up Aerospace Engineering. Can I Become an IAS or an IPS officer after completing Aerospace Engineering? Because i have to serve my nation rather than serving any foreign counry!

    YES, you can become an IAS or IPS officer after completing your Aerospace engineering.

    Below is the minimum eligibilty to apply for the UPSC civil Services exams:

    Educational Qualification :
    Bachelors Degree in any discipline
    Final year appeared/appearing candidates can also apply.


    AGE Limit for the UPSC conducted Civil Services exams is Minimum 21 years for all the candidates
    Maximum 30 years for the General Candidates
    Maximum 33 years for the OBC Candidates
    Maximum 35 years for the SC/ST Candidates

    Attempts- General candidates- 4 times
    OBC- 7 times
    SC/ST- No such restriction

    So, complete your Graduation and than apply for this exams

    It's very good to hear about you for planning your Career Efficiently, As your in 10th standard and In future wants to become IAS or IPS officer.

    For, Making career as IAS or IPS, Why to study Aerospace Engineering? I thinks its waste of money for your Parents.

    I suggest you to Pursue B.Com after 12th to Make Career as IAS or IPS.

    Getting Recruited as IPS or IAS is not an Easy task you should have to work hard at your studies.

    After Completing your Graduation you need to appear for Civil Services Exam(Group I) which was Conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) of India.


    Eligibility Criteria for IAS/IPS:

    1) The person must hold Graduation Certificate in any stream from any recognized university or Board.

    2) Age limit should be between 21-30 years old. Relaxation of age will be provided for SC/ST/OBC


    As, Now you're in School standard, first complete your 10th and In 10+2 pursue MPC, then decide what to do in future to make good career.

    Be sure to improve your Communication skills, English fluency skills to make a better career.

    • Yes, You can become tqe IAS or IPS officer after completing Aerospace Engineering.
    • For which, you are required to apply for the Civil services examination which is organised by UPSC.
    • The minimum qualification required for it is having graduation degree in any stream from an recognised university.
    • The age limit stated for it is 21 years to 30 years.
    • You will be given upper age relaxations if you are from an reserved category as per the notification.
    • It has three stages i.e preliminary exam, main exam and interview.

    dear friend,

    IAS or IPS exam are civil services exam which are most reputed and popular in the whole india.Any of the eligible candidate may appear for these civil service exams and all the civil services exams are conducted by UPSC commission or Union Public Service Commission of India.

    There are few other civil services are too there as follows which all are conducted by UPSC commission and are much popular exams too as :

    IAS
    IPS
    IFS
    IES


    To appear for these exams,you must also have to satisfy certain eligibility conditions which are the necessary and key criteria's to appear for that entrance exam.

    These eligibility conditions are regards :

    >>educational qualifications

    >>age limit

    >>number of attempts

    >>physical criteria

    >>nationality etc.



    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :

    1.You must be graduate from recognized and well reputed university in any discipline with 55-60% marks atleast.

    2.You must be within 21-30 years of age.

    3.You must be Indian.

    4.You must also satisfy certain physical criteria's as weight or height etc.

    Yes , you are eligible to apply for the IAS or IPS exams after completion of Aerospace Engineering .

    Remember that , your Engineering , should be done from any Recognised college or University

    Actually , the Civil services exams will conduct by UPSC of India

    Age shouldbe in between 21-30 years , for the OC Category candidates
    Age shouldbe in between 21-33 years , for the OBC Category candidates
    Age shouldbe in between 21-35 years , for the SC , ST category candidates
    The candidate shouldbe a citizen of India


    For the OC category candidates , they will have only 4 attempts
    For the OBC Category candidates , they will have only 7 attempts
    For the SC , ST category candidates , they will have Unlimited number of attempts . All the attempts are valid only when the candidate age is below 35 years




    Selection process :-
