You can join indian navy after your engineering degree by applying cds exam.
Cds stands for combined defence service which is conducted by upsc twice in a year.
CDS EXAM ELIGIBLITY;
candidate should be complete graduation from recognized university.
2. those candidate is in final year of his/her graduation these candidate can also apply for this exam.
3. candidate age should be in between 19-24 years for Indian Military Academy
for Air Force 19-25 years

from 2 ways

either by appearing for NDA exam

after passing 12th class

or by appearing for CDS exam
after completion of your graduation


for NDA


you need to be 12th passed
with pcm as compulsory subjects


age limit for NDA exam is
16.5 years to 19 years

for CDS

you need to be a graduate in any field


whereas for CDS exam age limit is
19 to 25 years

you can see your age does not satisfy the age limit of both the exams
so i dont think you will be able to join this service
at this age

• No my dear friend,you can not apply to Indian Navy jobs at the age of 28 years because to join any civil service your age should be at most of 25 years ad your age is out of date means that is of 25 years.
  

• According to my point of view,at the age of 28 you have to go for other government jobs rather than civil services.So you have to try in other field.
