Re: Can i apply for IES exam being in Final year student?

Yes you can apply.Candidates in final year of B.tech are eligible to apply. You need to produce your degree certificate at the time of interview and not at the time of applying or written exam so you have that much of time.Nearly all UPSC exams for freshers allows final year candidates for those exams. The exam is held around June every year and the interview is conducted around April next year. You will have your degree by then easily by all standards. The registration generally occurs around February/March.Keep a check on the website of UPSC around January in the examination calendar to know about the date of notification. All the best
