    YES, you are can apply for the SCRA exams.

    Eligibilty to apply for the SCRA exams that is conducted by UPSC are:

    12th Class or Intermediate pass with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry in class 12th.
    OR

    Graduation pass with subjects Mathematics and Physics or Chemistry


    Age-Minimum 17 years
    Maximum 21 years
    OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations

    Written Test scheme of SCRA examinations:General Ability Test (English, General Knowledge and Psychological Test)
    Physical Sciences (Physics and Chemistry)
    Mathematics

    Hello Friend,

    Of course you're Eligible to take SCRA Entrance Exam with PCM qualification. It relates to Railway Career which was the best Central Government Job in India.

    SCRA(Special Class Railway Apprentice) were conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) once for Every two years.

    On qualifying SCRA entrance exam, you can able to Pursue Mechanical Engineering for about 4 years with affordable stipend of Rs. 4000 - Rs. 4400.




    Eligibility for SCRA Entrance Exam:

    > The Person must Passed 10+2 wtih PCM as their Subjects which was recognised from any Board/University.

    > Age limit: 17-21 years old. Relaxation of age will be granted according to Category as for SC/ST-5 years, OBC-3 years.


    Exam Pattern:

    > The Exam will be Consisting of two Sections, where first section holds written type of Examination Contains total 600 marks. Questions will be based on English, Gk, Physical, Physics, Maths, Chemistry.

    > Section two refers to Personal Interview and Medical Test where the Candidates were to be shortlisted based on Written exam score.



    It's Unfortunate that SCRA-2013 Exam had Over and you've to wait for atleast 2 years for another Commencement of Exam. It then Practice for SCRA exam.

    Yes, you are eligible for SCRA exam after passing 10+2. SCRA stand for Special Class Railway Apprentice Exam.The exam conducted by UPSC.

    Eligibility criteria:
    > pass 12th with maths and physics
    > age must be within 17 yrs to 21 yrs

    Examination pattern of SCRA:
    General Abilty Test---Duration:2 hrs
    Maximum marks: 200

    Physical Sciences---Duration: 2 hrs
    Maximum marks : 200
    Mathematics---Duration:2 hrs
    Maximum marks : 200

    Dear student you are 10+2 with PCM subjects you can get the eligibility to appear UPSC SCRA exam.

    SCRA: Special Class Railway Appretice examination.This entrance exam is conducted by UPSC.

    A 12th standard with the subject PCM or a Graduate from the recognized board/University can

    write SCRA exam.

    Age: 17-25 years, relaxations are there obc 3 years, S/C S/T 5 years.

    Nationality: Indian.

    • SCRA is an special class railway apprentice examination which is conducted by the UPSC.
    • As per it, you need to have passed the class 12th from an recognised board.
    • In 12th you must have the subjects of mathematics and physics or chemistry to be eligibile.
    • The age of yours must have to be in between the limit of 17 years to 21 years.
    • If you comes under the obc category then a age relaxations of three years.
    • For the sc/st category students the age relaxations increases to five years.

    Yes ,you are eligible for Special Class Railway Apprentice.

    Eligibility Criteria


    Age: The candidates aspiring for the SCRA examination must have attained 17 years of age and must not have completed 21 years on 1st August of the year of examination.

    Minimum Educational Qualification:


    Must have passed in the first or second division, the Intermediate or an equivalent Examination of a University or Board approved by the Government of India with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination or Bachelor degree .

    Nationality:
    A candidate must be either:—

    (a) A citizen of India, or
    (b) a subject of Nepal, or
    (c) a subject of Bhutan, or
    (d) a Tibetan refugee


    Physical Fitness:


    Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to Special Class Railway Apprentices’ Examination as per Regulations published in Gazette of India in the year of the examination.

    Obviously yes, you can appear SCRA after 12th with PCM subjects.

    The minimum eligibility criteria are as follows
    -12th pass with minimum PCM subject.
    -Age limit is 17-21 years.

    You will be facing questions from
    -General Ability
    -Physics
    -Chemistry
    -Maths.

    The exam will be conducted by UPSC.

    Hi

    Special Class Railway Apprentice(SCRA) is conducted by UPSC on behalf of Indian Railways for four years apprenticeship.On successful completing of same,SCRA will be absorbed as a Class -I Indian Railway Service Mechanical Engineer(IRSME).

    Eligibility criteria for SCRA exam:-

    Candidate age should be minimum of 17 years and not more than 21 years
    Candidate must pass 10+2 in first or second division in Mathematics and Physics or Chemistry subjects.

    ->If you meet the above eligibility criteria then you can appear for SCRA exam.

    SCRA 2013-2014 exam details:-

    Notification date :October 2013
    Last date for applying : November 2013
    Exam date : January 2014

    Yes you can take SCRA exam.

    SCRA exam is conducted by UPSC every year.

    This exam is for officers posts in Indian Railways.

    A student who have passed 12th class with Physics, Chemistry And Maths is eligible to sit in SCRA exam.

    So you are eligible for this exam.

    Only having educational qualification will not make you fit.

    You should also have below given age criteria:

    1. Minimum: 17 years.

    2. Maximum: 21 years.

    3. Maximum for OBC: 24 years.

    4. Maximum for SC/ST: 26 years.

    The eligibility criteria for the exam is :

    >>10+2 passed /appearing from a recognized board with PCM subjects as compulsory .

    To apply for the Exam you must fulfill the below ELIGIBILITY criteria ...


    <> You must be an Indian

    <> You must have passed the Intermediate (+2) from a Recognized university

    <> The Minimum Age is 17 years

    <> The maximum age is allowed up to 21 years

    <> Since you did not complete Intermediate you are not Eligible to apply for it ...

    <> So Better you apply for the Next Year ...

    Yes, you can definitely appear for SCRA exam after completing your 12th.
    You just have to pass this exam and then you can get a job in the railways. The eligibility criteria for this exam are-

    1) You should have completed your intermediate.
    2)age between 17-21 years.
    3)Qualifying the exam. It consists of 3 sorts of papers- General Science(Phy. & Chem.), Mathematics and General English.
