Re: Which branch of Engineering has more job opportunities for girls?

You should choose your branch as per your interest. It is you who have to pursue the course so you should choose such a stream with which you are comfortable. Now girls are at par with the boys.Hence there are seen in all sectors even doing various jobs involving physical works. All streams are now open for girls. However, civil and mechanical are still not considered by most of the girls but it has been seen that the number of girls has increased in these fields. As per your interest ,the demanding branches in present world and in future that you can choose are-

    -Computer Science Engineering
    -Information Technology
    -Electronics & Communication
    -Electrical Engineering
    -Mechanical Engineering
    -Electronics & Electrical Engineering

As per the future demand is concerned, you can choose -
    -Electronics & Communication
    -Computer Science Engineering
    -Mechanical Engineering
    -Electrical Engineering

    From Economic point of view-
    -Mechanical Engineering
    -Computer Science Engineering
    -Electronics & Communication
are the best branches. However,Computer Science Engineering is subject to market risk. So,it is better to go for the other two where you can find wide scope in various sectors.

Taking into account every parameter, the best branch for you is -Electronics & Communication(or Telecommunication) or mechanical engineering. But again I am telling it is better to go with the branch in which you are interested.Even after 1st year, you can change your branch(you have to get good pointer in first year for that). So,think and act wisely.
