See there is no restriction that you can't do the ICWA course but it will not benifit you in terms of your carrier growth as you belong to the computer field and ICWA course is for the commerce field student. and if you want to change your stream from computers to commerce and management side then only it could benifiy you. but changing to other stream is not a very good thing as once you change your stream you have to again start all the thing from the very beginning . If you want to stick to the field of computers you could look for courses that could enhance your application programming as well as web programming skill , just go for the courses that would give you an idea of graphics like knowledge of HTML,JDK1.5,JDK1.7,VB.net , and you can also look for courses like diploma in java or diploma in .net from NIIT OR CDAC OR APTECH. once you get these courses done you will have an extra knowledge in your field which the other people might not have, and this will benifit you once you go for interviews in top MNC'S like HEWLETT PACKARD, HONEYWELL, HCL , INFOSIS, WIPRO, TCS, PATNI, IBM, GOOGLE, YAHOO, COGNIZANT,FIDALITY,MICROSOFT

Actually ICWA is cost accountant professionalism and generally commerce graduate participate in this course but there is no restriction except fine ARTs students to join it.
In my point of view you should go for m.sc it would be better for you as you are a bsc

Dear Friend ,Software companies give Equal importance of Both MCA and B.Sc IT students so you can go for MBA if you are wish to change your line, MBA would be better option. If you want to do Software job you go for MCA in National level Colleges like NITs etc. If you do not interest in Software side then go for MBA.

Well, if you have science background then also you can do ICWA even this course is more oriented towards science student and you can pursue CA as well by clearing their entrance examination, but keep in mind that you have to find time for doing your article ship with your studies. For further details vist this site i.e http://accountancyhelp.com/CA_Eligib...uirements.aspx
Choose a right one according to your wish only.

It is not true that only commerce students can only join ICWA. Every body can join. But the decision has to be taken at most care because this course relates to commerce or cost accounting. If you thing that you have to deviate from what you have studies and if you thing that you have to change to commerce stream then you can join ICWAI course. But the decision to change should be a wise decision and it should be beneficial to you.

But still I feel that it will be difficult to study ICWAI for a science steam student and even most of the commerce students are not able to get it passed and most of them are taking years to compete the course. So it is better you join the any of the following courses

    1.MBA

    2.LLB

    3.M.S.C ( computer)

    4.MCA

    Etc etc etc
