they are very much strict in their eligibility criteria....

if it 50%,,,, means it is 50% not even 49.99%.

If it is 5 KMs in maximum 12 minutes then it is 12 minutes not even 12 minutes 01 Seconds..

Yes, Reservation for SC(scheduled cast) and ST(scheduled tribe) in defense forces. According to the rule of central government there are 27% for O.B.C(other backward class) ,15% for Scheduled castes(SC) and 7.5 % for Scheduled tribes (ST) and all over for SC and ST reservation is all around 24%.
In the defense SC and ST candidate have benefits in the age, they have maximum age relaxation is 5 years and for O.B.C category is 3 years. Also you have to many more place where the SC/ST candidate have relaxation in the defense.

you have to attend and get qualified in all the 3 steps of selection without any relaxation for cutoff marks or Age..

Yes it is as per the rules of GOI and the reservation is around 20% for SC and ST.

the seat reserved for the SC/ST/OBC candidates are 25% as per the latest declaration. the age relaxation is 35yrs maximum as on 01.01.2012
